Thanks for the answer. This thread has now lost it's purpose as the question was answered in the above link.
________________________________
I'm sorry for the somewhat aggresive title. It is meant as an eyecatcher and will hopefully result in an answer. This particular question was asked before and shrugged off with a "No comment" or even completely ignored in other instances.
This is not a thread meant for discussion. It's not meant for flaming or complaining about anything. It is also not complaining or flaming anything and it's not even a rant. It's a question that needs an easy answer.
The questions at hand:
- Is the Nightfall Elitemission as of currently included in the game?
- Is it as of currently reachable? As in: All prerequisites work as intended - no bugs stopping the access?
A simple:
"Yes it is and yes it is" is all that i and everyone that agrees on this thread is asking for. We don't want the directions as to where to find it. We simply want to know if it is there at all.
Should it be lacking, now is the perfect time to admit that it is not yet included before your players get frustrated about the issue.
If you've read that far and want to support this question, show your interest in the matter by answering to this thread.
If you however need further information as to why this question was asked at all, read on and decide then.
What sparked this particular question?
The Nightfall Manual states the existance of an Elitemission and a special hero. So far it seems that no one has found neither the mission nor said hero (Razah).
What has been done to find it?
Besides every Player that plays the Nightfall campaign, there are a few very dedicated gamers in every community that want to do anything to find that mission. Things that have been done in order to find it:
- Gain Max Tier Sunspear Rank, through applied bugusing (it's currently not possible to reach the max of it as it is bugged - except for semi bugusing)
- Gain Protector of Elona
- Gain Grandmaster Cartagropher
- All quests done, all NPCs double checked
- Challenge mission high scores achieved
- Many more
As you can see, a lot of time has been invested to find that mission and amongst many of the desperate players a common belief is forming: "It's not included". This is dangerous to the morale and A-Nets reputation as well.
Dude, wtf? Why is this important at all?
If you've ever tried something for hours straight only to find it that it wasn't possible to do to start with - you surely know the frustration connected with this.
Here however are dedicated gamers and fans that have tried for days (!). What will happen if they suddenly find out that the mission was never included to start with? They'll get really angry and frustrated. Many of them allready are kind of in a state of apathy and that's not definitely too good.
And why should i care? I'm still in Kamadan!
You will care one day. Atleast when it is your turn to look for the Elite Mission. It could also be that a small bug in the requirement to gain access prevents access to the mission and A-Net simply didn't notice it yet. We don't know and we can't check. A-Net can.
In your own interest, you'd want this (and other bugs of course) to be fixed by the time you reach it, don't you?
Conclusion:
So, after reading a few of the reasons why this question is important, decide for yourself if you want to support it and are interested in reading an answer about this.
Please, keep this free of flames. Don't be dissing a-net or their policy and i ask a special thing from the moderators: Once the question has been answered by a representative of A-net, please close the thread.
