Grand Court of Sebelkeh...don't understand it
Damma
My husband and I have been trying this for 2 days with no luck.Don't understand how you shut a Rift down.We have killed the Tomented Claw and cleaned out the rift and Energy Orbs on one side and killed the Blasmy thing, then proceeded to the next.
But then in a blink....BLAM....dead....mission failed. We are both rangers and have both tried differant skill setups..hero's and builds...henchie's,nothing has worked. Please no (i did this with henchie's and hero's) remark's...<<shrugs>>
We don't understand.
We are looking for help..........please!

you shut a rift down by standing beneath of it. each player will add one "degen" to it (max 4), when it reached zero its shut down.
dont let the blaswhatever thing cap the middle. kill the energy balls right away or else they will spike you.
if that doesnt work youll have to try with pugs.
good luck!

Once you know what you are supposed to do it is quite easy. Here is what I did for this mission with henchies (it doesn't really matter which ones you bring, but I like to have an MM here):
First go to the center and kill all of the mobs that attack the middle. Once all of them are dead and no more are coming, the Blasphemy will start spawning.
Ignore the Blasphemy completely and clear out all of the enemies by one of the rifts. You should be able to kill everything and close the rift (by standing under it with everyone) before the Blasphemy is even 2/3 done with capturing the middle (if the middle is captured then you automatically lose; stand in the middle to return it to your control). In case you are killing slow though, send the MM back to deal with the Blasphemy. The minions will kill it quickly and take all of the energy balls. The party is unharmed.
Then clear out the second rift and the third. Send the MM to stop the Blasphemy as needed but don't worry about it until the middle is about 2/3 captured. There is plenty of time to return and kill him.
Once the rifts are closed you won. Do it under 6 minutes I think for Masters.

6 minutes wow! it took me and my friend 50 minutes to beat it! we both were paragons and had heros and everytime we would cap the blahpemies would start capping the rifts and while we went to defend it another would come and cap middle and we would fight back and forth until the blapshemy got stuck and we were able to cap easier

Thanks for that info, if its true. My best was about 8 minutes, and I was wondering how much faster did I need to be...

i did it in 5:08, so its probably 6 mins as Lost said, taking into consideration that anet usually goes with round numbers.

The strategy I used is to have part of your team stand in the center to handle the blasphemy, while the rest of the team went around to kill the rifts. If you pull the enemies at each rift towards the center, your monks can stand between the two groups and heal everyone. Torment Claws are best interrupted, but if your team doesn't pack interrupts you can just prot-spirit a warrior and have her run in to absorb the Torment Slash, then send in everyone else.
The Unbound Energies + Last Rites of Torment can be dealt with by bringing Lightbringer's Gaze, if any of your party members have it, or just by kiting their projectiles. If your monks are any good, they should be removing the Last Rites hex from whoever is being spiked, which lowers the damage to nothing.
The wiki lists it as 6 minutes, although it might be 5 (my master's time was 4:48). EDIT: If Mokone got masters with 5:08 then it has to be 6 minutes :P.

K on a serious note here, Don't just trust anything that wiki says.
Wiki claims you will have to have a full pug team to get master. Tried it yesterday 5 times with 2 ele, 2 paragon, 2 wars and 2 monks and failed it on numerous occations. Then I was very annoyed and just got my hero's out and play. My team consist of 2 warriors (me axe aoe and koss dragonsword ), Olias (set up as mm + fleshgolem), monk (Woh). Then a dervish hench, monk and fire ele.
Stampeded through the mission and got master
. Just take a good MM along and you will be fine in this mission. (take out the clerics first, take out the rifts then go back to middle to take out blashemy.)

TBH I don't know how you guys are getting masters on this thing considering the mobs at the rifts keep spawning roughly once a minute. I henched it (with 2 mm heroes) and I still only get experts at best. Am I missing something here about the conditions for spawning and the spawning of that demon guy - who just keeps spawning every single time you take him down?
Avarre
The key is not to focus on killing him each time he respawns - let him cap the altar for awhile, then slaughter him (before he finishes) and return to capping the rifts. Since he dies easy, you shouldn't focus fire on him until it's needed.
arcanemacabre
heh, good to know. We killed him and his orbs every single time. Still managed to get 6:30, just missed master it appears.
What we did: We quickly slaughtered the first group (where two from each portal meet in the middle - take out the Cleric first), then quickly ran to the portal to the left. While I (and my heroes) concentrated on standing under the portal and killing the group, my wife and her heroes fought off the second set of margonites from the other portals.
After killing that first portal, we quickly ran to the one on the right. That's when I noticed the demon thing running back to the portal we just killed. I kinda panicked and ran back over to kill him and his orbs while my wife took out the rest on the right side portal. After that, it was pretty much an assault on the last one. Like I said, we still focused on killing the demon thing every time (he came back probably 5 more times during all this), and if we hadn't, we probably would've had masters.

perfect
Did it with a random pug but everyone brought Lightbringers Gaze spell. We finished just under 4 minutes.
Xeeron
Did it with a friend and heroes in 6 minutes something for expert, so Master seems to be 6:00 indeed.

A decent Lightbringer rank and using the Gaze seems to be a bit of a must in that mission to get the Master rank reward. The Margonites just fall so easily with that skill and the extra damage against them
Lady Lozza
The would be fine Avarre, apart from the point at which you fail the mission when he caps, and he caps at an alarming rate.
Avarre
He has a skill which 'spike-caps' part of the altar. Just keep in mind if he's using it, and if you're concerned that it might send things close, just smash him mid-cast. He has about 100 life, so a few good hits can drop him in a second.
Note : Do not use Lightbringer's gaze on him. As the gaze is effected by armor, you're much better off using it against the energy that spawns, which have extremely low armor and take 200~ from it.
