I know it's a stupid thing to ask, since Nightfall makes Factions look like a waste of time, but has anyone tried completing the Factions campaign with a Paragon or Dervish in order to see if they have Celestial skills?

They would probably give them one of the existing celestial skills.

They don't have allegiance armors, I haven't gotten to the end yet though.

If they don't have celestial skills that just makes them a worthless party member for the last 2 missions (imo). And I could care less about allegiance armors... When chapter 10 comes around will people expect them to have armor from every chapter? (Assuming Guild Wars lives long enough to see a chapter 10)

They will have the celestial skills like Assassins and Ritualists can get skills in Prophecies skill quests.

no celestial skills are class specific in factions, each of the 8 classes got 1, and it only worked for your primary, thats not the same as being able to get skills of other classes by going to older chapters.

I doubt they will have any celestial skills. That doesn't make them useless though. Honestly the Celestial skills aren't all that necessary to beat the final two missions, nice to have but not necessary. I think Dervishes could do fine in both.

The time I did Raisu Palace the fastest and with the least deaths was when nobody grabbed celestial skills, and we got masters award. Go figure.

You missed the point entirely. You can't get skills for your Assassin and Ritualist from Prophecies skill quests and you won't have Dervish or Paragon celestial skills.

I was taking a Dervish through but I am at the temple since I can't seem to locate a group due to lack of people. I will post when I finally make it to the end though I think I will do Tyria first.

As long as their secondary is not Assassin or Ritualist, they WILL get skill quest reward skills for their secondary, but not for their primary. This, last I knew, also holds true if you make a Canthan character with a core primary (such as Monk), except that you'll get skills for both.
