Weapon Inscription slots...

So why don't max weapons/items drop with blank inscription slots? I've yet to see many max weapons drop in areas with L20+ monsters, chest drops have not been max either and mostly purple crap.

What are others finding?

Oh and are rubies / sapphires / diamonds just too rare or what? How can you craft 5k armor for a decent price when each gem will cost you 5 more k?

You can overwrite inscriptions, they don't have to be blank.

Vabbian armor is an ascended armor type, like 15k or FoW armor, all of which are expensive in their own way.

At least while jewels are as expensive as they are, it's currently unfair to call Vabbian armor "5k armor" just like it is to call FoW "15k armor." Although, who knows where jewel prices are going to stabilize in the future.

well, remember that it's other players that call it 5k/10k/15k armour. the game doesn't refr to it that way. even regular "1.5k" armour was never 1.5k if you were getting tats/scars..

Sure you can overwrite inscriptions but still max weapons are not dropping often, if at all in areas full of L21+ monsters. There is something wrong with that.

I doubt the gem prices will come down much at all. They hardly drop or salvage out of jeweled items / djinn essence.
