A suggestion for the Hero system.

I have something like 10 Heroes to choose from. Two aren't accessible because of the options I've selected during the run of Nightfall.

By far I'm enjoying Heroes, they're far better than standard henchies.

What I've noticed is that some professions aren't available as Heroes however because of the options I chose.

So my suggestion is how about allowing players to select some of their own pre-existing characters to use as Heroes?

I have 6, some people have 20+.

It would increase ANET's revenue because people would probably want to buy additional slots, but it would also help people that have already created some great PvE characters, and this would be a way to use several at the same time.

I realize there might be an issue with storage, but I'm sure that can be worked around.

Accually, I've heard that once you beat Nightfall, you are supposed to get any heros that you don't currently have, but because I haven't beat Nightfall yet (and probably won't for a while), I can't confirm this.

However, whether this is true or not, it still would be nice to be able to use our own characters as heros because
1) It will increase our gameing experience, and
2) We will be able to have a hero that has Ritualist as their primary.

And for you people that are going to say "then we will be able power lvl our own chars" or "what about item duping", well those and many other similar things have been answered in other threads asking for our characters to be able to be heros. If you just seach, I'm sure you will find a counter/fix to your concern in one of those threads.

Confirmed. My monk has them all (besides this supposed one that can be any primary yet doesn't seem to be in the game yet.) And the quests to get them at the end are very quick and easy, not like the ones to get them through the storyline.

Oh really? That's good to know because I can't do a couple of main missions because I took a different path. It would be nice to go back and do them.

Yes, a lack of Ritualist is a problem I think that is easily solved by allowing our own chars as heroes.

/ubersigned. I always wanted to see this and it would just be awesome. If done right, there would be nothing wrong with it.

Take hench, or real people, or one other person and their heroes.

Using your own characters as heroes has been suggested before and it's just as rediculous now as it was then.
