Can Insignia be used on Prophecies armor?

Just wondering, can Insignia be used on Prophecies armor? For instance, if I bought 15k Geomancer's set in Prophecies, can I add/replace with +10 AL while enchanted insignia? Thanks!

ArenaNet said that insignas can only be applied to Nightfall armors, and I couldn't when I tried, so unless they recently changed their mind, you can't add insignas to armors other than Nightfall ones.

I think this will be changed in the future.

It could be somehtign that only the Elonians have developed.. thus the ability to add insignia wouldn't be available in Tyria and Cantha. It's like with inscriptions, except there it's more obvious: weapons need an inscribable space to allow for the addition of and inscriptions, and Canthan / Tyrian weaponsmiths didn't know about this and didn't make any space available for it.

So much for the integration of the three chapters.I like my prof armour,and personally would be ashamed to be seen in the rubbish on NF,so no insignia for me.

At this stage it is unfortunately a big no. I would expect that to change at some point in the same way as FoW armour gained access to the new stats (legionairres etc) a while after factions was introduced. Expect to have to pay for your kurzick 15k all over again if you want to inscribe it though....

I think all they would have to do is make it almost like the infuse run, and make it only available in the Nightfall campaign. That way people with Nightfall would be the only ones that can upgrade thier Prophecies armor. Just a suggestion, and I think this would make alot of people that have been playing through every campaign really happy.

Luckily for me i like primevil warrior armour and i went and got some as soon as i could so atleast one of my characters can
and has insignies on her armor, but for the rest its a shame that there isnt a way to upgrade the armor to be inscribable

And for the ones who have fissure armour i feel for you i would like to be able to change my necro fissure armour also...
