Elona is part of Tyria, the top of elona is attached to the bottom of the crystal desert in Tyria.
That also explains why the desert mission is called "Elona's Reach" because it is in fact the top of elona.
go to www.freewebs.com/exaltedlegionnaires and go to the Lore page under Elona. It will tell you about how Turai Ossa (yes, Ossa, sound familiar?)first travelled north to the crystal desert to seek ascension and was killed. He is now a ghost, a very familiar ghost whom you encountered in Tyria many times, and probably still do.

Maybe we get a chapter in shiverpeak like theme. Mountains which start in the forests, go further in rock landscapes and finally turn into mountains covered in centuries old snow. The mountains which are the domain of the dwarves.
I have no idea but I have a little idea we could have dwarves returning in GW, but we'll see.

Think more the regions between Cantha and Elona.. Alla Corsair Pirates...
Thats my take on it anyway, why else have such a detailed description for an established people?
BTW the GW homepage has the manual available for download. http://www.guildwars.com/gameplay/manuals.php
See attachment for Cosair details from manual.
I think it may be interesting to have a sea bearing game, and allow for multi map ports... Or maybe a HUGE map zoom out with all the lands shown...

Although this isn't in the manual, this is something from the game I thought may be a hint to Chapter 4. I figured I might as well post it here.
Mhenlo says, as idle dialogue as a hench in an explorable area, "I thought Ascalon was the world. Then I came to Kryta. Then I crossed the mountains and came to Elona. I wonder what lies across the sea?"
Other than that, I didn't see anything, even in the manual. But then, I'm terrible at looking for things.
