Omg, I will end up in 'MPH' if so.
Heroes & The Eight Professions
ImNoKid
Ok, maybe this a noob question. I really need to know. Are heroes shared across account? Cause I have 8 professions in one account, does it mean that I have to work & lvl all 13 heroes over & over again for each pro? And not say upgrading them all over again with sup vigor, runes, weapons, armors ...
Omg, I will end up in 'MPH' if so.

No they are not. And the Questions & Answers forum would have been a better location for simple questions.

Oh, I didn't know that. Since this is such a simple question. They will move this later maybe.
So ppl like me with 10 professions (6 Prophencies + 2 Factions + 2 Nightfall); in order to work all 10 thru Nightfall, I also got to work all the 12 heroes over & over again.
And like Factions is not possible to run the rest just to cover the map of Nightfall. Hmmmm ......
The life of a hardcore gamer in gw is hard, so hard.

I have 10 chars... I'm only gonna get all 13 for my two elonian chars. The other ones, should be content with just olias and zenmai. And perhaps I'll take a few of them thru istan in order to get koss, dunkoro, tahlkora, melonni and jin/sousuke. That should add enough choice already (that's two monks, three fighters, a necro and a ranger/elementalist). And maybe, only maybe, I'll take another char or two quickly thru the NF story to unlock the others.
sage tank
mass farm saki's sword for warrior, easily done in 5 min run
mass farm stonereaper/Ghial's staff for necro, easily done in 5 min run
mass farm wing's axe for warrior, easily done in 5 min run
mass farm lia's lantern(off hand is really what matters, i can use starters wand if i want to because really, ele's damage come from spell not wanding.)
easily done in 2 min
mass farm charkkra's flat bow(bad spelling, it was a zealous bramble bow if you know what i mean), 1 min tops per run
"mass farm collector items for caster..... "
..seriously, people got start learning how to use major runes, 2 cheap major runes for healer or caster dont hurt that much, I never max out on one attribute unless doing SS or MM.

Am I right in thinking you can get through the game just using 4 or 5 heros?
I cant remeber but i didnt level them all for sure and only used necro monk ranger and Ele. If you do happen to have to take another along just bring an extra monk to make up for the low level, they dont have to stay alive anyway.

There are quests and missions that require certain hero's, so if you plan on going all the way through the game you would need to level almost half of them I would think. Koss, Melonni, Whisper or Magrid, Dunkaro, Zhed seem to have the most quests/missions that require them.

Lol, I hope the next chapter will come after 1 year time, so I can slowly work them out one by one. And hopefully, I discovered some easier ways thru play later. Is cool to be able to get each pro a set of good armor for each Chapter.
Is good that in future, maybe Anet could consider say if we have more then xx Lvl20 characters, as long as we have one or two which end game, the rest can jump straght into getting armors or access to any place etc.

Yea, I'm working on my characters one by one...it seems the only way!
Having to find weapons for them is tiresome now...but I'm getting there slowly. If you have the money I would reccommend looking around a few medium-high end chests. While I explore I decided to open some chests along the way, partly because exploring can get boring, but also there is at least some incentive to obtaining Treasure Hunter / Wisdom titles now for that extra 3% chance to not destroy an item when salvaging. When I don't get a gold that's worth something the purples I get out of the chests usually have a mod on good enough to be salvaged, or the weapon itself is good enough for a hero. A lot of mine now are kitted out with purple chest items I've found on my travels...it takes a long time to save up enough collectors items (unless you're back in Cantha - Putrid Cysts ftw!) in Elona it seems so I figure chests are the easiest (although not the cheapest) way of kitting my heroes out.
