Inscription questions

1. i dont have NF, so i dunno how this works, but need some weps from there, so firstly, i hear a wep has to have an inscribable spot to put an inscription there. do you get to choose what inscription u salvage from a weapon? and is the weapon always, sometimes or never destroyed when salvaging from an NF weapon?

for instance, if i want to make my own +15/-1 20% HSR wand, can i simply buy any NF wand, and put the energy inscription and HSR (i think thats a wand wrapping now?) wrap on it myself?

Most drops/chest finds will come with inscriptions, however, sometimes people will take them off prior to selling (if it is something nice). In this case it will say "Inscription: None".

When salvaging an item you can choose what you wish to attempt to salvage first. Sometimes you can get more than 1 thing off an item without destroying it. It's all a matter of chance.

As for you buying the inscribable wand and inscriptions and piecing it together yourself, I don't see why not. My word here is not bond, as I haven't been in that position myself, however, it makes sense that you should be able to.
