Nightfall question: Branch of Juni Berries

Hi all, did a quest and i was given a branch of juni berries, does anyone have any idea what it's for/does?
The quest was 'insatiable appetite', where you get toma (the drake) to feed on 5 creatures in 3 minutes.

I have the same problem except I now have 3 branches. That drake sure likes to eat Koramon soldiers.

There is a smuggler in Command Post that trades bottles of juni berry gin for 1 Kournan coin...

I only know that the quest is repeatable... I collected 4 so far, you can never predict the use of them

But I'm also very curious about their use...

I'll trade you for a tapestry shred...Gwen's broken flute and Gwen's tattered cape....oh, or maybe the bunny from Pre-Searing...I suspect some grand scheme in which somewhere along chapter 10, all the "useless" items will be required to create a potion that grants the drinker "The Avatar of Leroy Jenkins"...a skill that causes your character to randomly aggro large groups of mobs, preceded by the battle cry, "Alright, chums...let's do this"...when your character dies...your inventory spills upon the ground to be shared by your party...evil.

How many branches do you need to make the gin?

The post you are replying to is irrelevant. There is a trader who gives you a bottle of gin for a kournan coin (like an imperial commendation - get them from quests)

This has nothing to do with the berries

There's an Herbalist guy in Yohlon Haven (I think). It strikes me that he may have something to do with them. Has anyone checked? I haven't done that quest yet, so I don't have any berries.

Nah that herbalist is part of another quest.

I was asking this same question to my guild and my alliance and they didn't know, so if anyone knows what they're for it would be nice to know.

Somebody has to know? They are taking up space in my inventory.

Yeah, I'd like to know as well. I mean, screw useless junk.. when you're from Tyria and you have low level heroes that you need to level up on quest rewards, you'd much rather have XP than branches of juni berries!
