Now that there are 6 easily obtainable PvE titles for KOABD (Protector/GMC Tyria, Protector/GMC Cantha, Protector/GMC Elona), there will be more people with KOABD titles, and it'll be a lot less rare.
What will you think about the title?

Let's see...PKM can be obtained by...
The six "easy" PvE titles
Incorrigible Ale-Hound
Max Treasure Hunter
Max Wisdom
Legendary Survivor
Or even throw in Savior of the Kurzicks/Luxons in there somewhere. Golden and Hated might come to pass if the carnival games are brought about for a third time. That's 14 titles...then max out Sunspear and Lightbringer for 16.
Wonder what quote it'll be this time...or better yet, "Ron Burgundy Incarnate". Or to appease all the fans out there... "Acolyte of Chuck Norris"

It's just a title that requires more grind than the others, that's all. Like most other higher-tier titles, it just shows dedication, too much time, etc., etc..
And once the Sunspear title is "fixed" (someday) and the cap for Lightbringer is known, 'People Know Me' is within reach. 3 Protectors, 3 GMCs, Sunspear, Lightbringer, Elite Skill Hunter (Max tier) - pick your final one. (Likely Ale-Hound)

I think everyone is calling PvE titles easy a little too much specially the cartographer titles. In a couple weeks I'll have these 6 titles maxed on my warrior. I had some really tough fights along the way. Some times I had to fight through 60 DP or take a really hard boss. Sometimes a few patrols would converge and it took a certain amount of skill.
Here's a hint: everything in this game is easy cause it's not... actual physical work. We all sit here and press keys to play a video game so why discriminate? People who spent several hundred hours to max these 6 titles deserve a big congratulations.
I think Skill Hunter can be maxed out now at least until campaign 4 comes out.
I'll be happy with maxing out 7-9 titles on this character before campaign 4 comes out. I'm not in a rush to get the PKM title.

So you're saying that we should congratulate people who spent 2000+ hours "working" on a videogame to get "honored" by other players?
I think those with the titles are actually quite clever. I am not one who has overly much time on my hands, playing maybe an hour a night, and a bit more on the weekends. And it takes creativity to get to some of those places for 100% Cartography. And it's taken me 14 months to max out four of those titles on my ranger. And I do a bit a night with my guild.
Titles are a reward for hard work. -shrugs-

I have seen a lot of people in-game moaning on about this. I have 2 maxed titles at the moment and have been slowly working on Tyrian GMC, and am already at 80% on Elonian GMC. Why should I not try to get KoABD because someone else doesn't want their title devalued? If people with the current KoABD want to stay *cough* "Teh L33tz0rZ" all they need to do is go for PKM. I've been working for a very long time on my titles...and no, I don't really have a lot of time to do it...but this was always going to happen as the game got larger.

Honestly people who spent lots of money, by that i mean REAL moeny e-baying there titles for KOBD they deserve to be "put down" by people just getting 3 Prot titles Max Sunspear soon and Lightbringer. I feel titles are a personal gain and shouldnt even be able to show them off
Btw if you have KOBD most people look at you and think "wow he needs to get out more" unless your a wammo and they will be like " when im older iw ant to be jsut like you"

Yep, I guess it's not that hard now, but still, it takes alot of time.

Until you get a 100% map title, politely stfu and move along. If you don't care about someones title, good for you. I couldn't care less about most people's titles, not even if I tried. I don't critisize them for actually having the commitment to get them though.
