I don't have a extreme problem with equipment storage, however now keys and dyes are starting to add up so the suggestion is simple. Add a tab to store stacks of dyes and keys, since there are so many types of keys and with the possibility of new expansions adding even more keys only mid-high level keys should be stored under this tab. Any thoughts?

/signed. I'm a big fan of a dye tab, and also think a key tab would increase the gold sinks for the GW economy - and this would be a good thing.

Dyes take up too much space if you're trying to collect them. Also, keys do if you got some keys but haven't used them yet.

Armor and/or weapon storage wouldn't hurt either XP.

I like all the upgraded storage ideas but a few things need to happen.
1) Allow upgraded storage for people in Prophecies. If they don't then that means Anet was lying to us all along saying that you don't need any of the chapters to get any of the core benefits.
2) If a Weapon/Armor storage tab is made it needs to be by the character or else it will be pretty much 1 or 2 sets of armor per account.

OR they could just charge you something for a whole new row of storage. That way you can just buy 10 more rows of storage and store all you want to.

Dye storage would really screw up the dye market. You'd always keep dye, never sell it. When you did sell it, it would be en masse, not just two, because the price reached some critical value you set.

No one would ever buy a dye again, once they had more than 6 of each.

Dye 'collectors' are just speculating and stockpiling. That's ok...if you've got the storage for it. The same is true for Rune Storage & Weapon Mods Storage. Bad Ideas.

Materials/Rare Materials is different because you will USE those for Armor sets. They have value to you above and beyond platinum.

I'd only agree to Dye Storage if the stack size was small, like 10 dyes, not 250.

Dye Storage = Boo

Armor Storage = Yay

to the above poster... the die market would not change as more people dont sell their die back to the trader they also don't buy it back from them later...

in the short term i bet the price would increase but in the long term it would go down as the demand would be low.

as plentifull as they are, I'll support any idea that gives me more storage

on some level i agree with carinae but to think about the new material storage is useless right with the limit of 255 of each material and not all places are filled (i'd say 70% of all material aren't used in my case), perhaps maybe be good idea is to expand material tab and add space for dyes. If u check definition of dye it says "A substance used to color materials"

The dye storage is suggested every week... you should become a regular...

As for the key storage tab, it seems like a waste of space for nothing. Someone suggested keyrings, which seem to be better.

OR you could actually USE the key when you get one.

Not me - I experiment with dye combinations all the time, so I like to buy/keep as many dyes as possible to try out on any new armor I purchase.

One could say the same about crafting materials...

/signed for a Dye tab with a slot for each color. And new slots to be added if Anet ever introduces new colors.

All campaigns should benefit from this addition. Or maybe have it so you must own Prophecies.

As a generic storage for stackable items, not limited to keys or dye. So it can also be used for extra stacks of crafting supplies, collectable items, and weird stuff one obtains for no reason.

I'd also like to see tabs added that you can buy from the major cities of each area that allow the storage of collectible drops.

Have a storage upgrade vendor that will add a tab, for example in Cavalon for all collectible drops from the Jade Sea areas. The vendor would upgrade your storage for 25k.

I use dyes a lot more than I use anything else, I know people that change their color weekly unless they dye their armor black, Then it is usually permanent. I am constantly changing from blue to green combos....I like to stack those 2 colors all the time. I don't understand how someone could say people are stockpiling to speculate....oh yeah, to speculate what my armor looks like. i dont care to sell crap in GW, because it takes too much time to sell something...Gimme a tab for Dyes, runes, all kind of stuff. Also raise the limit to 999 on stacking items. also raise the money storage to 9mill instead of 1 mill.

I'd like Armor storage... my monk can't cope with using 4 different armor sets (YES, i use ALL of them.) and one small inventory (she's also got her equipment, don't forget that >.>
Playing PvE with only 2 free slots in your inventory= bah.

And thats fine, but it's also meant to be a money sink. I don't keep dyes anymore because I have no room, and they are so cheap....if you don't need Black or Silver....and because I don't re-dye often.

One could...but it's a question of scale. When you buy a new set of armor, you are consuming 400-500 materials.

Now, what does it take to dye that same armor set? Well, you can only mix dyes 4 deep. So, worst case scenario:

4 dyes x 5 pieces = 20 dyes per armor set...Versus 400-500 materials.

Having a stack of 250 dyes doesn't make sense in that regard. And it gives everyone the power to dump 250 Black dyes on the market, or buy up to 250 Black dyes without effecting inventory.

The word is: Volatility

My prediction: The dye market will bounce up and down like a pinball if we get dye storage.

That doesn't happen for ecto and shards because they get used in large quanities for FoW armor, so the supply has a constant drain. But look at Rubies/Sapphires...no drain...no use...wild fluctuations. Black dye itself ALREADY does this slightly, don't make it worse.

Because there are so many different types of keys in the three GW games, I think it would be beneficial to have some sort of key storage. Just make a tab in the storage similiar to the Material Storage that features all the various types of keys in the game. It would greatly reduce a lot of clutter in a lot of people's storage and be great for those that are working on their Treasure Hunter title. This would not be hard at all to implement in the game, as its would be virtually the same set up as the material storage.

/signed, yes its been posted many times, and I want it posted more so anet can stop ignoring it. I hope this turns into a full-scale player revolution. I don't think anet realizes how huge of a problem this is.

Maybe they don't give a crap, but I will never pay anet for any guild wars related material again until they give us our storage upgrades.
