WHAT? All the gold avicara armor sellers I've seen spam it for 3.5k each or 7 for 24K!?! We only get a 500g discount for buying 7 
Seriously though, they're most likely bots. Just check if they are guildless, sometimes have a strange or Chinese-sounding name, don't respond when talked to/only say certain things (that's why some people say 'looking for SS who can say more than gogo, 50/50, and ok' in ToA. It's to avoid bots), have the monk scar armor thingo (dont know what they're called), which is usually undyed, and follow a strict pattern which is never broken. You can see this clearly in Droknar's Forge. You can tell which farmers are bots and which aren't because the bots will head straight to someone they can sell to (usually the armor guy), but humans take a few seconds to look around for them.
