In pve, unused dead bodies tend to disappear after a short while, they need to be permanent... sometimes i still need to use them for summons and the team and it's bad enough that minions slowly get their life drained but what's up with limiting us to using dead bodies too?
So i propose that the corpses should not disappear until it has been used. And maybe the disintegrating corpses too... unlesss gw intended for those to be unuseable.

your reason doesn't even make sense...
y would it lag more when pve is in an instance... and u forget, dead bodies appear before they can disappear, so if your comp lags just because the corpse doesn't disappear anymore, then your comp probably lags right now because corpse appear all the time.

You dont have a necro or profession in your team, who exploits corpses.
There arents any enemies who exploit corpses.
The mob you get attacked by is close to infinate and never ending.
The body count builds and builds and builds!!!!
Situation number 2;

There are several enemies who DO exploit corpses for AoE spells.
The mob is farly large and seems never ending, and the corpses build up and up.
The enemies then have an endless supply of corpses for their own minions or their own AoE spells.
Situation number 3;
You DO have a necro or similar profession who exploit corpses.
You get attacked by a large mob.
The corpses build up and up.
Basically you have an over-powered Necro with an endless supply of corpses.
Since a powerfull MM can keep minions alive for quite a while, and you would still have corpses laying there.... somewhat of a disadvantage.
Just learn to maintain your minions better.
Heal area and blood of the master. Simple!
If my Necro Hero can manage it, im sure you can.

If you have every instance through-out the world having to calculate an endless number of corpses on screen, or the effect of exploited corpses on screen for EVERY person in an instance at that time, then its going to demand alot from the servers.
Too many bodies + players + enemies on screen at one time, takes alot of processing and information being sent back and forth.
As I said, imagine that being done for everyone in an instance at one time in the game.

There's not much of a point to it. If you can't maintain your minions, that's your problem and there's no reason to clog an entire area with corpses for that.

What if we look at it in a roleplaying view
What if necros need as fresh bodies as possible to animate minions. Then there is no reason to have infinite bodies as the bodies become useless after a while. If you want to replace old minions with lots of degen, animate before the corpses become useless.

its only 10 minions its not hard to maintain and replace as necessary, plus who wants to spend all day waiting for an MM to either keep raising minions or run about the map looking for those bodies that he didnt exploit 10 minutes ago

no, minions is not my problem, it's when i get my minions, i still have plenty of nrg to do stuff w/ the corpses like putrid and other spells that use dead bodies besides raise minions... but meh.... o well doesn't seem like anyone agrees with me and i think lag is the least important for it, there's usually no more than 2 or 3 left that "disappear" when i'm done w/ the rest, and i would like to use them for heal well after the fight or putrid while my minions r fighting
or worst yet, i'm in the middle summoning some corpse related spell and the corpse timer is up and cancels my spell/waste my nrg altogether... or when the corpses r in an unstrategical spot and i wanna save them for the next mob further down but they end up disappearing...i dont know.... i've just been in a few situations during pve where it woudl've been better off if the bodies were still there
or worst yet, i'm in the middle summoning some corpse related spell and the corpse timer is up and cancels my spell/waste my nrg altogether... or when the corpses r in an unstrategical spot and i wanna save them for the next mob further down but they end up disappearing...i dont know.... i've just been in a few situations during pve where it woudl've been better off if the bodies were still there

Sounds to me like you don'tnhave the right equipment.
With Bortaks set i can fairly easy summon 3-7 lvl 18-19 (26-28 if golem) undeads in 10 secs.
added to that the bloodstained boots and i've wiped everything out before hell freezes over

Your using corpses for more then just minions?
Well no wonder your running out or corpses! Your a minion master, you specialise in minions, so why are you using putrid explosion and other skills to use them up?
Im sorry but ive got to agree with others here in saying that you dont sound like a very effective MM.
Your complaining that you have a load of energy to waste, so you just go and use it up on other skills which exploit corpses. THEN you winge that you dont have any left to rase minions with!!
Hmmmm!!! This is where a lightbulb should go off above your head.
(In my opinion and from experience of MMing)
1. Only use spells which exploit corpses to res minions.
2. If you use any other skills which do dmg, DONT use ones which exploit corpses.
3. Take heal area and blood ritual and you can heal yourself, and your minions.
4. Take that one which reduces their rate of death (cant remember name of).
5. Use Vampiric minions (factions main city skill trader) to steal health.
6. With the large energy sink your saying you have, you could maintain or ress more minions easily.
7. Blood stained boots to increase the speed of corpse spell casting.
8. Use your head!!!

IMO The only thing they could adjust could be that a corpse doesn't dissapear if you are allready casting a minion spell. There are times the corpse just dissapears when you've finished the spell which can be quite annoying.

yup but just be a bit faster.
I've had that too on loads of occasions.
I then just run off to the next mob, pulverize them and got a whole new batch to work with
