FoW Armor Inscriptions

Can anyone confirm with a screenshot or just verbal confirmation that the existing FoW armors for non paragon or dervish are inscribable or if they are the same as always? I have heard speculation both ways but have not been able to find a person who says they have seen it firsthand. I apologise if this has been resolved and I should have spent more time becoming intimate with the search function.

I think I saw a message from the Frog saying something to the effect that insignias and inscriptions are found only in NF, and apply only to NF equipment.

seems like everytime new expansion comes out, gears from previous won't competible to each other for a while.
if insignia works on both prophesies and factions later on, either Anet is trying to force people to buy more nightfall or they are just lazy and give us those kinds of update later on.

When I went to the FoW Crafter to craft some armor I saw plain versions of the armour which leads me to believe you can. Can't comment on it with authority as I didn't craft those ones.

You've always been able to buy plain versions of armor in Proph & Factions. It's just that very few people do....
