I called it guild google.
using googles ability to customize search engine i have made a customization which searches specific guild wars sites.
It's still work in progress and any comments and suggestions are welcome. The sites the engine currently search are:

please suggest any other sites that contain extensive guildwars information/discussion

if you have an idea for a logo please post

I hope this won't be considered as spam, my intention is to help guild wars community

*******Update******
Now thanks to Skids it is called gwoogle. It's even got an ugly logo which is probably copyright infringement of something, it violates good taste in any case.

Now you can choose search filter right away on the main page. This is not a usual option (that i know of), I did some javscripting so it has some bugs especially if you use the back button. I will add a build search soon.

I'm not getting any search results from guildwiki. Maybe you have the same typo in the configuration of the Google Co-op settings that you made here.

It's http://gw.gamewikis.org/ (without the "e").

what did you expect to get when you typed in shiro? it is strange though that guild wiki's entry to shiro did not come up first...i might make a filter to search only the two wiki's
anyway it's better then what normal google give you when you type in shiro:

i got something similar as you, that searchbar of google in firefox. If you adjust some setting you can change that google/yahoo and other search things to guildwiki and way other sites. i don't know how coz my bro thit it. but its really handy, thanks for the effort

Ooooh cool idea... I could make that for this search engine so you can add gwoogle to your firefox quick search thingy.

Just as soon as I figure out how, I am reading the opensearch documentation it shouldn't be hard.

Just a note some sites I have added like crossingtyria and guildwarsrealm aren't getting searched very well, this is because google hasn't indexed their all their pages properly yet. For crossingtyria forum pages are getting searched but the normal site not.

Expect a build search filter soon.

your doing a really good job, only thing is that gwwiki wont get searched wel coz of it slowness, but thats not your fault. they are working on it and i hope that it is fixed soon, so that your search thing gets even more handy
