hexes and damge

i notice with some (if not all) armor ignoring hexes, such as ineptitude, is supposed to do 135 armor ignoring damage--no more, no less. my question is that sometimes ill use a hex such as ineptitude and it will do over 200 damage when it is supposed to do 135. what makes it do more damage?

Frenzy, Victory or Death. There are probably more, but you are most likely seeing Frenzy.

Thanks for the reminder. I had wondered about that one myself. I had actually forgotten that those skills make you take extra damage when in use along with a few others.
