Eshau's Spear W/N solo farm
Pojnx
Equipment: Sword (you can make ur own axe build if u want, quite easy.. possibly hammer too but i didnt try it)
Shield: Requires strength
Armor: Any i guess
Location: East exit portal from Yohlon Haven.. keep heading east..
Attributes
Strength: 13 (+1 rune)
Swords: 16 (+3 rune,+1 helm) {I used 15 but i didnt bother to buy a new helm just for testing}
Skills
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Grenths Balance {Necro Elite}
Dolyak Signet
Endure Pain
Healing Signet {Not needed while soloing}
How to use
Stage 1: Clear off the regular creatures with hench.. wen u get to the boss make sure u dont target it so that the hench dont fight it.. wen all is clear send ur hench men far away till their names go gray on the party list so that the drops arent stolen by hench..
Approx time till ur done from stage 1: 2.40 mins
Stage 2: Activate Dolyak Signet and make sure u use it wen it recharges too..
start attacking and use the skills in order 1 - 4, When health is around 150 hp or less use Grenth's Balance..
Stage 3: The next time ur health is low, his should be too so use endure pain till u finish him off..
Approx time till ur done from stage 2 & 3: 30 seconds
I got the idea from a Rispote + grenths balance build but tweaked it since this boss is a paragon not warrior.. In my opinion it takes too long to get there but if for sum reason the weapon has a high value, maybe since its 15% - 5 and paragon dont need much energy, then it would be worth the 2 mins.. im guessing it will turn out to be around 20k since its easy to get..

I know price is gona drop, but its not a far boss and ppl are bound to make builds since now the hench can be controlable..

here's the way I see farming greens in NF: I don't give a rat's ass about prices. I need (well not NEED) greens for all my heroes across all my characters, and if I can easily farm say 8 Eshau's Spears (or whatever green it is), then I'll throw them on 8 paragon heroes.
That notwithstanding, if I can farm green X easily, and if someone else can farm green Y easily, let's trade and call it even. I've farmed a LOT of NF greens (and posted alot in the farming forum about this), and only sold 2 (actually traded one for ectos, sold the other). The rest have been 1:1 trades, even if it didn't seem 'even' (as in today I traded a Briahn's Guidance [sweet paragon shield] for a nice mesmer focus [though in much less demand and presumably 'worth' much less). king_robin
In my point I just farm the green stuff when i need those Not to sell them It is almost impossible to sell stuff. (only for me)

Less armor, no endure pain. Maybe, but I doubt it.

If you use a slightly diffirent build... More like the original GB build, you can farm every boss in Arkjok ward. Havent tried other areas yet.
ATTRIBUTES: Strength 11 (10+1) Swordsmanship 14 (10+3+1) Tactics 12 (11+1) SKILLS: Sever Artery Gash Riposte Deadly Riposte Grenths Blanace [Elite] Dolyak Endure Pain Healing Signet Onwan, Lord of the Ntouka (warrior) Enadiz the Hardheaded (warrior) Acolyte of Grenth (dervish) Eshau Longspear (paragon) Lieutenant Kayin (Ritualist) Modti Darkflower (necromancer) Captain Chichor (mesmer) Still no confirmed green on any of the acolytes of whatever god though. Anybody know if they drop anything? Because he is by far the hardest to get to. Pojnx

Like Any Boss... wait for it... wait for it... droprate isnt 100%... So just do a couple of runs. Do some other farming and so some more runs to stay under the anti-farm radar.
2 of the bosses are indeed warriors, plus the dervish boss is almost impossible without the ripostes. Even with Dolyak on, Chilling victory strikes for over 150 dmg. ryanryanryan0310

Oh but Daddy I want an Oompah-Loompah right now! Learn to be patient.
This hero-gank/setting rally point method is going to be quite good for the R/N touch farmer too. must go and give it a run... chicks boy chicks boy
YESSSSSSSSSS I GOT IT!! TAHNK U FOR DA BUILD AND LOCATION!! D;d
Brother Redmund
Whatever you do, please don't post a picture every time you don't get the drop,that is completely unnecessary, I believe you and I'm sure everyone else does when you claim that its not dropping. We don't need you to post pictures of your unsuccessful runs....
As for the drop rate: shiz happens man, the drops are more or less random. You need to bear in mind that doing 30+ consecutive runs is going to lower your chances of a drop because of farm code. Go do something somewhere else with your warrior, and return to try again some other time. Cherno
I've been farming him with my ranger as well.
R/X Expertise 15 (12 +3) Wilderness Survival 10 Marks 12 (8+3+1) Skills: Apply Poision Burning Arrow Screaming Arrow Throw Dirt Whirrling Defense Lightning Reflexes Troll Unguent Quickening Zephyr or Serpent's Quickness Equipment: Lenghten's poison bow that can get you inside the agro for screaming arrow. I use rotwing's recurve bow. Follow normal tactics. Fight to him with hench, get him alone and flag henchies away. Go back, lay Zephyr, apply poison, lighting reflexes and attack. Keep a stance up as much as possible with TU after you lay a burn and bleed on him. Might have to kite every once in a while for a short window when you don't have a stance available. Xeeron
Nice idea, but I really want to know why people farm this green.
- Xeeron Pojnx
im glad u guys like it, i also made an ele build tank / fire spam but its slow.. i think its around about 40 seconds to kill him and for ele 40 seconds is slow... not worth posting it
