Buddy Key

I bought a copy of Nightfall that comes with a poster and a buddy key so my girlfriend could install the game and I could play too. The buddy key lets you play for 10 hours or 14 days, whichever is up first.

When the buddy-time is over is it possible to just buy a full activation key rather than another full copy of the game, which we don't need? If so, is there a link to the site I could use?

click the link to do with Nightfall, then you will need to create an account (totally free, totally simple, and it does NOT require your credit card number in your account details) then once you've registered, you can purchase the key with your credit card, then your key will be displayed on screen, you should save this to favourites just in case, then add the key to the game via the function on the login screen.

I guess you could use the in game store. Think you need to create a PlayNC account first to use it.

MIGHT be better to just buy the real deal...
its up to you but as far as i know(im pretty sure)the online store version isnt any cheaper than if you bought the actual CDs and got all the stuff with it(allright so its not a ton of stuff but still...)so if it were ME then id just buy the real thing. just food for thought.

I checked out the shop and the key from there was £29.99. On Amazon you can get the whole game for just under £18 so I guess I'll be doing that.

It's just a shame to waste all those materials - the DVD, manual, box etc etc, when all I need is the activation code.

The ingame store can only be used to add more campaigns to an existing account, but not to create a new account (which is what Rextter wants to do).

He would have created an account with the buddy key already.
