R/X Shagu Farming

I have used this on Shagu the paragon boss in Barbarous Shore for his shield. Works well against Melee mobs as long as they can't knock you out of stances. But even if they do you can still use throw dirt.

Take your hench and hero clear all the mobs leaving just the boss. Flag your henchies outside of all radar range so they aren't elegible for drops.

Toxicity

7 Beast Mastery
15 Expertise
12 Marksmanship
8 Wilderness Survival

Using a Rotwing Recurve Bow but any bow with lengthen poision is fine. You probably want to avoid long bows as screaming shot will not be effective unless you are within agro bubble of the enemy.

You can run all the way up to the three groups around the boss in the zone without agroing anything. Clear the mobs and flag out the henchies.

I usually then start with apply poision, lay down toxicity then hit him with burning arrow. Activate one of your evasion stances. After a good shot from burning and screaming, hit unguent then repeat. Use a new stance when it becomes available. When the second stance is going to end and the first is charging use throw dirt on him. You should be able to go most of the time evading the majority of his skills while your attacks and degen take him out.

Getting Nightfall this weekend, I'll be more than happy to try this out with my 20 ranger.

Quickening Zephyr

15 Expertise
10 wilderness
12 Marks

Once you have cleared all around him and are ready to solo him:
Cast Quickening Zephyr
Cast Apply Poision
Target him and use throw dirt
When you get within range of his attacks, hit whirrling defense
Burnign arrow first, then screaming shot
Use your evasion stances and throw dirt as they become available. Keep up burning shot as much as you can, sceaming shot after about every 2 to 3 burning arrows
