Guide to doing Master's Quest Battle of Turai's Procession

If you know what I'm talking about, good.
If you don't, just skip this thread =).
What you need:
You
1) Searing Flames Fire ele + meteor shower turned OFF
2) Searing Flames Fire ele + meteor shower turned OFF + maybe ward vs melee if you want to spread out attributes
3) Monk
Friend
4) Searing Flames Fire ele + meteor shower turned OFF
5) Deep Freeze Water ele + ward vs harm
6) Monk
We used ventrilo. This made thing 2000x easier.
Steps to killing the stupid Margonites that come in groups of 20+! lololol.
1) Let them move in and kill all the centaurs. Watch the suckers die.
2) Let the margonites bunch up.
3) Set ALL YOUR HENCHIES TO GUARD.
4) Leader call out one target.
5) Set all eles to attack that target (set their target so the white crosshairs turn gold)
6) Tell your eles to cast their attunements.
7) Count down 3 2 1 - have all eles use either their Meteor Shower, or Deep Freeze
8) WATCH THE ENTIRE CASTER BACKLINE DIE! roflcoptercakes. (plus any warriors or dervishes that got stuck admist their allies)
9) Finish off the useless frontline warriors with no backline help.
10) Back off. Wait for the next wave.
11) Go back to step 1.
12) ????
13) Profit?!
I immensely enjoyed employing this cheap and unimaginative tactic. It was a lot of fun.

This quest is just plain absurd.

Lazy question: From whom do you get this quest? (after doing the prereq quests that probably come before it)
Solarii
Yar, I beat NF with my Paragon a week ago and haven't seen this quest?? After the lame masters quest on noob island I didn't see another until realm of torment. Those were really fun though, and this one sounds cool. Where d'ya get it?
moko
sorry, but thats probably the lamest possible way ever - i beat it without a single nuker and ran into no problems. if you rely on that lame tactic...geez
you get it in tureis procession from the centaur
you get it in tureis procession from the centaur
Loshi
Thats hilarious and awesome. I will now proceed to beat all Master quests in such a manner.
Any chance you want to throw down some specific builds for the heroes?

Any chance you want to throw down some specific builds for the heroes? I've mentioned all the important skills:
1) the elite
2) the nuking spell
The deep freeze slows down the melee and sometimes keeps the melee trapped as well. Multiple meteor showers is just for the KD, damage and the [email protected] factor.
The monks were there just in case, but there wasn't that much healing going on.

I believe the way I completed this quest is much better.
I did it with all hero/hench team of Melonni, Magrid, Koss, 2 Hench Healers, Devona, and Cynn.
Basically the key is, rather than waiting for the margonites to charge the centaurs, I triggered the quest (by moving to the quest marker at the tip of the centaur line), then immediately rushed to the right (if you are facing the same direction as the line of centaurs) and met and destroyed the group of margonites coming from that direction. Because of going out the meet them, they didn't have a time to converge with the other groups, nor for subsequent groups to spawn by the time I had killed them all. That after all seems to be the fundamental problem with this quest: getting overhwelmed by the number of incoming margonites.
Then, once all the groups on the right side stopped popping up, I went back to where the (dead) centaurs were and killed the group of magonites milling about. Then, I moved up to where the rock & priest were and killing the remaining margonite groups as they popped up.
Honestly, if you do it this way, I think you'll find this quest extraordinarily easy.

I just mapped that area last night (the area you cap Searing Flames from right?) and I saw no centaur anywhere in the area. Sunman222
did it with heroes and hench.
two searing flames, meteor shower eles to drop the clerics + casters. then finish off the melee enemies. fall back as soon as you see more mobs coming repeat deve8uk
I kill the bastad right hand side then cant kill a cleric in time for it to heal using
Derv Me Kos W/e (ward) SS necro Healer Healer Healer elusion fire Ive tried it with 2 healers but same deal. get right hand side done and then im at 60 DP after dealing with group back at centars deve8uk
finaly dont it with 3 nuker hero's but with my agroing and distracting and then running through hero's skills on grouped targets.
Laid down ward against foes and ran. nuked 3rd time and waited for tehm to bunch. took a few goes. Rera
dev, you didn't even read the OP did you?
