First Char?
vergerefosh
First char was a necro, didn't know about any of the armour people or barely any of the quests, so he was terrible. lasted about a week. then made an E/Mo, about a week later made a R/Me cos i was told it was good, and about 2 weeks after that I made my W/R with Miss Piggy the warthog and best char I've had since. And most played
Zethron Ahriman
First character was a Warrior for me, named Zethron Ahriman... I deleted him in all his FoW armor glory (non e-bayed ) because I got bored of warriors. Recreated him in Factions as a Canthan Char... Now he's in KC picking up dust.
Tyrion Lannister
My first character was an ele/me named Garakh Blackmane, he didn't last long. He got pulled out of Presearing prematurely, forget about getting all skills, he didn't even have ressurection signet . My friends, with their lvl20 characters (they'd been playing for 8 months or so at the time) rushed me through the first three missions, with me just trying to keep up - confirmed kills: 0. Somehow I didn't feel that invested in that character (go figure!) and the next thing I did with him was delete him a few weeks later when I needed the space for a new character.
My second character, a female warrior (yes wammo! ) was created just after I stopped playing with my ele and is the one who's completed more of the game then any other of my characters. She can currently be found scouting ahead in Elona, she wants to add Elona to her list of continents she's already saved from utter annihilation.

Kyosuke
My first Char and still the one i use the most is my Necro. She can handle any build necesary and hasn't let me down in any situation, even when skeptics think a Necro can't handle a certain area. She alwys passes with flying colors
Here is a pic of her sporting her Primeval Armor, which she was awarded for beating Nightfall
I also have a W/MO and Assasin/Monk and a Rt, Deservish... but don't use them.... My Necro is all I need

Mavrik
My very first character in Prophecies was an Ele/Monk. I never read the fan site stuff, never asked for help in developing her. I was still in starter armor until Yaks Bend. I relied heavily on the mass damage skills like Firestorm and meteor shower. Got scammed for the first time with her and the last time mind you by a necro claiming to be a runner to Droks. I was such a noob back then... necros can't run to droks. I farmed a lot with her across ascalon but when they nerfed AoE I couldn't come up with anything that worked like I was used to. So and still with regret I deleted her for a mesmer. A mesmer is harder to play IMO but the only character I ever finished Prophecies with.
Mourne
My wammo...Mourne Yegan
Meh go figure I would start out with a warrior, barbarian was always my favorite class in Diablo 2 ><.

First character was my Ranger, But she sat in presearing for a long time, Beacuse i made 4 characters all at once, And played with the necro first really - So i consider my necromancer the first, beacuse she left pre-searing first, level 20ed first, got 15k armor first, and so on and so forth. I always have a character I start out with in each campaign that does the most of anyone, and My necro was the one I will never delete her - although I do wish i could change her face to something a little "mean' looking (i picked the nicest looking face) and I would like to give her a different name, Still i won't delete her for anything.
Edit: Here is her piccy

My first character was my ranger,Skylar Witherleg. He has done many things in his life time. He started as a R/E specializing in snares. Then I changed him to a R/Me to run poison/epidemic. Then he became a R/Rit with the release of Factions because I thought Splinter weapon would stack on barrage, it didn't, so I swapped to brutal weapon and did the brutal barrage thing. He also picked up a monk secondary for B/P. He's also had a necro secondary for MoP, which also didn't work as well as I thought it would. Now with Nightfall here I'm thinking of experimenting with R/E again and seeing what happens there.
I also got the Temple Guardian...I'm hoping for something a little cooler for my next character B-day

Taurucis
My first character, Kai Taurucis, was a W/E and is very much active as a W/Mo (don't worry, no mending) I've got 16 months on her and some good memories of creating her and adventuring in pre-searing on my old pentium 3 laptop (Yay! Crashes! ). Sometimes I think she's a little bit ugly compared to some other female warriors I see, but I'm never going to delete her.
tanedos
I started necro/ranger in betas for proph, and then when it came out I continued the tradition. He's my number 1 Character he's currently plowing through Nightfall as best he can. I have a few other characters, but they are slow going. My Ele/Necro got his mini-pet last week. And I have one mule character. and my assassin/necro
jackwooly
15 months old and Jack Wooly the Necro is still going strong.

DeathByBowtie
I still have my monk that I made the very first day that I bought the game, and he's pretty much the only PvE character I play.
hopefulliness
Sob... i delited my first character Deadly maroon (assasin) because i didnt like the Al of 70, Now my oldest char is Brute Retard
Priest Of Sin
1st Character: Priest Of Sin, who was a N/Mo that could summon up around 30 minions before MMing got popular. And ironically, I still have him.
Horible
My first Character was my beloved ranger. Ah yes my ranger
There is much to say about him:
1)He was started during BETA for Guild Wars Prophecies.
2)He is my only male character
3)He has almost 1/3 of my total hours
4)He only has 1.5 mil xp.
Ah well, there is much much more.
I remember those good old days of prophecies.

Well i came from Diablo2 were I proudly played what i felt was the underdog class in PvE the Druid(although they probably wern't,t just less popular)
I finally quit diablo2 with the hope of WoW coming out. Unfortunately i gave up all hope of ever sneaking that game past my parents when i heard it had monthly payments. Someone on some forum mentioned guild wars as having awesome PvP (love that game type) and being the new Diablo2. so i came to SAM's club one day and bought Factions.
I loaded the game up with much excitement and saw the seven classes on the screen. My innate 6th sense immediately overrode my other decision making skills and (sensing the underdog class again) i went right for the ritulist.
half a year later i still have him, I'll get my birthday present at the beginning of this summer. I love playing what i feel is an unappreciated class and am enjoying taking my rit through nightfall. I has got 15k armor for my rit 2 months into the game and haven't changed it since. My only other char would be a lvl 10 devrish who i Havn't'
t had time to play.

My first character on my account was my warrior, Warmaster Scorpio. Him and my monk were the only two characters of mine to complete Factions. Now he is in Elona and working his way through Nightfall. He has 4 sets of 15k armor. Ascalon, Luxon, Kruzicks, and Canthan 15k. only character of mine that has 15k. He is my main character and the one i am usually on.
MegaMouse
My first character is my namesake and a E/N been around since Guild Wars went retail in april of 2005. I still play him a lot. My second is a monk my third is a ranger who just had her birthday not long ago. I play several other professions when the need calls for them but my fav is my ele.

Ahh...first character..
R/mo Don't Call Me Peanut.
Sadly, I only completed Prophecies with him, even after getting Factions...lost my interest in Rangers.
Sure is getting close on that year mark though =) He better give me something good lol.. Probably the only reason I still have him..

SPIRIT OF THE SEA
My rit although has n purpose at all now HE WILL NEVER DIE!
Samuel Dravis
I've never deleted a level 20 character. My ele has been around since a week after release and I still like him.
Arduin
I always play the Ranger-class in videogames, if possible (Amazon in Diablo and so on). I particulary liked the idea of the Beastmastery Attribute, and of course the dealing of damage from a distance. My primary character, Arduinna Lightarrow, started as a R/N, I wanted to charm a pet and animate some minions on the way, only to realize you'll get some major energy issues minion mastering as a primary Ranger. Ah those blessfull earrly days. Well, I switched to Ele, Mesmer, Monk-secondary, done them all. Atm I'm using a condition-spreading build with Epidemic in PvE, loads of fun.
At the moment I got a total of 8 characters, only excluding the 'Sin and Para classes. Most of them are halfway a campaign, but I enjoy playing them too. About half of my total time is spent on all my 7 other toons, the other half is spent on Arduinna. She always gets to play first when a new campaign is released, and she's the one I'm collecting the PvE titles for. Managed to obtain Obsidian armor when it was still expensive, got a nice Shadow Bow as well.... no, I won't delete her

Some Guru Named Kai
My first character was an ele. A fire ele at that, I wanted to blow everything up. (and I got what I wanted! )
And he's still around, sporting a niffty 15k pyromancer coat. Though I've been drawn to other classes now so he's just sitting there collecting dust, craving to burn something.

phasola
First char was an ele. Sadly he was the worst equiped char ever. By the end of Prophecies he had a 7-15 flame a wand and a +9 flame artifact. Also at that time i didn't know what runes do. He was fugly also, so he had to go.
Aegeroth
My first was a W/N unfortunately my then-friend deleted him to make room for his guys when he borrowed the game, so i just say "nope i never had a warrior". Now im going N/Me, had it for about 1.2 years now. Good ole Desy
