The Apostate Quest. Broken?

Any clue how you beat this one? It's stuck. I've tried several times but I can't finish it. I think it's broke. It tells me to "Protect the Apostate for the Margonite Stalker!". I kill the stalker, the rest of the margonites in the area, all the monsters in the area.... and still nothing happens. What's up with this?

Did he die? Cuz I know I've finished this quest and didn't run into this sort of problem.

Did who die? The Apostate? No. I've tried the quest twice and he just stands there being a jagoff.

I can confirm that exactly the same thing happened to me. After destroying everything the guy just stood there. I waited ... and waited... and waited... finally I looked around to destroy any other groups even far from the Apostat but it did not change.

Guess it is broken as you said.

Cleared the area killed the Stalker... nada, zip squat diddly.

K I have tried this quest multiple times where you have to walk the Apostate across Domain of Fear to get his writings. I find that he sits there for long periods of time and won't move even when the area is cleared but then after like 10 minutes wil eventually move to the next spot. Once this happens you get to a bunch of bowman and a stalker and you need to kill the stalker for him. You do this and then he sits there and the mission doesnt continue. Done this 6 times now thinking I needed something but nothing changes.

I have attached a screenshot of the quest box and also my radar showing nothing on it which is after I killed the stalker. First part about finding the writings is finished when you get him to that group which shows as complete and Apostate is alive.

Anyone else having issue with this quest?

Ironically you almost wrote the exact same title for the thread :P.

I was able to do this quest before the last update, so I dont know if the update broke it or not, but it was working fine for me.

Same, did this before the update. Did you kill the mobs before he talked to them? Cuz I know he has some dialogue, so maybe hes waiting to talk to them...

You can't kill them before the dialogue because they are all green until he is done speaking then they turn red!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I tried this mission before the update and after the update and no go.

I just tried the quest tonight and was able to complete it. Is anyone else still having problems with this?
