Those are 2 really good choices.
It's very hard to decide, but if you have Nightfall maybe try out the Rt/N.
There's lots of synergy in NF skills between Rt and N.

I`d say Rt/N is the best choice. Rt/Me was used mostly for the Vengeful farming, but I think Anet nerfed it or something.

I agree. Rit/N is the better choice, that is what I have.
Rit/Me was good, but the AoE modifications to monster's AI now makes monsters flee if they can't kill you and they are close to death.

The Vengeful build is still viable - just takes a bit longer to farm an area.
I like the mesmer secondary for the mantra stances. On the whole the ritualist is a class that does not need much from their secondary class. Most of the time I run pure ritualist builds (although serpent's quickness is wonderful for attuned and other builds)

I remember messing with Dark Aura, Spirit Light, Generous Was....that kinda stuff. But I'd also unlocked those skills in PVP first. On the starter island you are pretty limited by what you have unlocked so far.
It was funny because the Dark Aura combo I'd use did not aggro enemies and I'd just follow them and slowly kill them.

I know I used Channeling, MMing, and Restoration builds. As to what skills I had, well, only the ones given to me. I never purchased any other skill until I was off the Island.
Obviously, I never used Channelling, MMing and Restoration skills all at once.

I like Rit/Monk for rebirth. Who doesn't wish they had rebirth at least a couple of times a week.
I also like Rit/Mesmer. I love channeling and interrupts. Even though we rits already have interrupts of our own, I love adding more.

I play Mesmer secondary. Most of my builds are on the channeling line, and because Mesmers have some nice No Attribute skills such as [wiki]Echo[/wiki] and [wiki]Lyssa's Balance[/wiki] (maybe its useless for Mesmer's, but you know how the saying goes - One man's trash is used to trash things by a Ritualist^^)
I also like bringing the odd elite skill, like [wiki]Ineptitude[/wiki], just to bug off the warriors.

Hi i'm new to the forums but i would suggest going just pure ritualist skills. Although i'm a rt/n i enjoy doing channeling over minion bombing (its kinda faster and looks more satifying in my terms.) I never touch any of my necro skills but its up to you.
