Hello everyone :-)
I have bought all the campaigns but have started with factions where I created a MO, and then in Nighfalls with a PA.
I have been playing for a month now, and what I have understood is that the exciting and expensive loot is towards the end of the game.
So I thought that in order to finish the Nightfalls campaign, or any campaign, I would follow only the main quests. In this way I will finish the game much quicker and then I can come back to the other quests, and any other part that I might be interested in the game.
It is just a thought. What do you guys do usually? Is my thinking correct, or do I miss something?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Strategy for finishing the game

Megla Zero
I have way too many characters, so now I just go through all the main quests/missions to finish the game as fast as I can, and if I'm bored... I go back later on my sin and try to finish up the bajillion quests that Factions has.

You will miss out on the challenge of doing the more low-level quests when you are a at a low level.

Thanks for the replys :-)
Well it is something that I personally don't mind. Missing the excitement of doing the quests when I am low level.
Is there anything else that I am missing?
Can anyone tell me what I should expect towards the end of the game?
Thanks again.. :-)

If you just want to beat it fast to get to the end and get expensive stuff to sell,
you should hurry cause every day the price of endgame greens and whatnot drops a little

What you should expect if you've skipped most of the game to get to the end game content for the loot.
Not finding any groups willing to accept you because you're too low level to be useful at that part of the game. Sure if you're thinking about nightfall this might not be an issue as your heroes don't have the option refuse to go with you because you're not ready yet, but then niether you or your heroes will be of a level where you stand much of a chance against the end game level mobs.
Those little side quests etc. does serve a purpose. They teach you (as a new player) how to play the game, in prophesies - unlock the skills you need, give you enough XP to be of an appropriate level for each stage in the game, collect the gold and stuff from drops to provide you with the gear you need as the stakes are raised and the challenge bar gets higher.

Thanks for the replys guys :-)
The truth is that both in prophecies and nightfall, I made sure that my characters were level 20 before they left the islands.
What I meant is what happens after that. But I do have a question, is there any possibility that following JUST the main quests that you reach the latest game without being level 20? I find that highly impropable, but I've been wrong in the past as well :-)
Did you mean though something else when you said that I will not be high enough of a level?
Thanks

To reach level 20 you need to earn 140 600 XP
In proph there are 25 missions - each earning you 1000 XP if you do the mission alone and not the bonus = 25 000 XP
But you get XP from kills in the mission as well, so let's double that amount landing you with ~ 50 000 XP (= lvl 11) from doing the only all the missions.
So yeah, even with very few leaving pre-sear at lvl 1 it is possible. Especially if you add in skipping missions and/or getting runs to places.

I didn't know that about prophecies..
I 'll be careful with my Elementalist that I started in prophecies but have not really worked on.
btw.. when I said prophecies and nightfall... I meant factions and nightfall.... :-)
