dying serpent axe question

hi , after the recent update has anyone notice that the serpent axe dye differently? or it just that i am see things. for example my serpent axe that was dyed silver before the update pretty much turned the whole serpent axe shinny silver after the update i applied silver to another random crap serpent axe i found and the silver only dye certain part of the axe on the dye preview window. has anyone tryed this before...

Yes I have noticed that as well with armor, did not think much of it though. I rather have the whole weapon silver instead of the inner part or the blade.

yea agree with u i kept my serpent axe shiny old silver, with the fact that this can not be done anymore so i probably wont ever re-dye it. however, i do like the way the serpent axe dye with other colors know cuz before the update and other color beside silver and black on serpent axe didnt look to pleaseing to me. but, with the new update the serpent axe dye pretty nice with other color. for example blue on serpent axe actually dye blue instead of changing the whole axe to purpleish... but that just me
