Future State of the Game - Easier on re-run?

This is less of a single suggestion, but more on taking feedback on a general philosophy on game play. In several differnt threads, I notice there are a mix of differnt opinion about this issue, so think would be good to have a thread about it to see what the normal player thinks, and a good to reflect it back to the dev.

The issue, as the thread title says, is that should the game be Easier on replay or not. As it stand now, the game is design so that on a 2nd play (starting a new PvE character), it does become a bit easier, but not that much. Sure you got the advantage of the hand-down gold and equipment, and the skill unlocks for heros, but other than that, its not much better off.

Granted it could be labed as Game-play, and most game does the same, but there is a counter arguement of "if I already play it once, why would I need that much more trouble to play it again".

There are several other ways to make it easier, should the dev decide. I won't go into much detail, as there are other threads for it already (and this is more a discussion on the gernal issue), but the "field" it covers include stuff like:

-Open-Close Gate/ Runs
-Use Train up Heros/other Play characters
-Free or Cheaper use of Unlock skills
-etc.

So what do you think? Respond /yes for possibly (in one way or another) make it easier, and /no for keep it as it is. Or join more on the disscussion to write out your opinion and reason for it. Of couse keep in mind both the pro and the cons of the things, and don't get too personal.

I don't see why it should be easier. If anything, I've like to see the overall gameplay be a little more difficult.

If anything, the game is TOO easy for me now, especially Phrophecies. After beating all of the RoF missions with hench the first time though with my third character to do it, I was somewhat disappointed.

Me and my girlfriend started in Kaineng and killed our way to Arborstone in three hours a couple of days ago, it's definetly not difficult (yes, killed, no running involved and all missions and main quests cleared, we even did an area twice because of an err7).

Definetly no need to make the old areas easier.
