Getting back into the game.

I've played GW prophecies for awhile before I got bored and quit. I quit about the time factions hit the shelves, and didn't look back. I'm trying to get into the game again and am just wondering, how is everything? Some might remember me from way back, I was in alot of famous guilds such as FoSa and TSH, but left them sadly.

Is there still a decent amount of people that play prophecies? (I have not got factions or nightfall, and I don't plan to at the moment unless I get a respark for the game). I'm asking this because I'm going to start a monk (Have two level 20 chars already w/x + me/x UAX in prophecies) and I don't want to play a game with no interactions at all. I will probably be henching most things in the beginnign though.

Can you buy the factions/nightfall weapons from others if you don't own either expansion packs?

Is Lions Arch still the main place for commerce?

Are there still any profitable farming areas in prophecies?

the games bad ass sence i have just started recntly and am fairly into it and have heard lots of changs have been made so its gonna be slightly fifrent yah know...

Well, Lion's Arch Dist 1 is still a main place for commerce (the factions and nightfall main cities are main spots too, but LA is still crowded as ever)

to my knowledge u can get factions and nightfall weapons even though u don't have the expansion

the overall quality of people in the game in general is on a decline (try to find another guild because PuGs are crap nowadays)

Obviously the population is spread out on 3 continents now so some Prophecies locations may be spread thin, plus there is a lot of focus on Elona right now. I'm still seeing enough activity in the Tyrian locations I've been to.

I still have toons working thru Tyria and either work with guildies or henchies. You can also pick up a hero in LA.
