How are we supposed to equip our heroes?

Heroes should have clean weapons that level up with the heroes.And we have the ability to choose what mods to go on said Weapons.

It would be oh so easier to use a such a system.

i've got a whole load of weapons i stashed away for a rainy day and i'm using those. Just use them as you find them

/unsigned. I see no reason for people to have level 20 Heros upon creation of a new character.

Ok, sure, so you "have" to "level" them again. Er...I havn't had any issues with that, either. I just play through, I havn't found any need to "train" (spend extra time specifically devoted to levelling your Heros) them to get them to 20. This isn't exactly a game where you have to spend a year to max your level. (I've played those, trust me, this is way easy compared to spending three weeks to gain -half- a level. Of constant 6 hours a day grinding.)

What?? I haven't payed a single penny on upgrading my heroes! and as for insignias and runes, well why not ask me, I never get green drops but I get plenty of runes and insignias, in fact I get more runes than I get materials which is darn annoying! Currently all my heroes have gold weps, ok maybe not the best armor but hmmn apart from when Dunk was at lvl 19 with base armor and kept falling over I've had no problems, and I've been using the heroes since there inception, or is my account realy that screwy

I have used like 10k TOPS on my heroes, and I have equipped all of them.
Collectors ftw?

dont like the idea of having to level new heros ....right now I have my rit running around the yetis on the shin jing with heros to level them, my ele is running around kryta with hers.....this is time I could have spent playing vs level 20 characters but the low level heros just are cannon fodder and I then have to spend the time to rez them after every monster engagment......thats the only thing I dont like.....

as for what the use and wear, if I get a good weapon they can use, they get it....if I get a rune I dont want for another character then they can have it.....right now I believe I have one character with a few heros that have runes....otherwise nadda. I had some unwanted greens left from the green weekend so some of my characters have greens, some have the goty weapons and some are still using what the devs gave them (though I did change my ducky's starter divine staff for 2 collector items since I had the putrid cysts and growths on my mule....).

The only thing this is causing me to do, is lose storage space holding items for Heroes to come. I only equip them as I see fit, if I don't think I can afford it, they don't get the rune/insignia/weapon.

Lol, I just don't use heroes, I prefer adventuring with real people. My level 18 koss has a starter sword, and a armor: 14 sheild. My monks have some crappy staves too.

If you spent 250K for crap, that's your first problem. I've got 6 sets of heroes outfitted for a hell of a lot less than 250K, and trhey all use perfect or damned near perfect items.

I didn't put any runes on my Heroes and they owned up the joint. The weapons were equipped as they were found, either from a chest or a drop.

People just need to know how to be resourceful instead of whining to Anet for a handout.
