Hero Skills Trainers

So, in NF there are NPCs called Hero Skills Trainers (or something like that.)
They are said to teach my heroes certain skills at the expense of some "hero points" I get advancing in sunspear rank.

As far as I get it they will unlock this skill for my account just as I can do it myself using Balthazar faction. Am I right here?

P.S. The fun thing is some of the skills they offer I have unlocked already %)

I think you'll find they also give you the skill yourself. The dialog with the hero skill trainer at kamadan suggests he gives you the skill too.

I really haven't examined this and shoudl check it out, but I think you'll find that's the reason he offers it: although you ahve unlocked it, that character youa re using doesn't have it him/herself.

This would seem to make sense, since there are no skill quests other than the ones you do as a new elonian character. The hero skill trainers would replace the need for skill quests.

They unlock for your account, AND they teach it to the character you bought the hero skill with, so think of it like free skill points, although you can only select from a small number of skills.
