As most of you have noted, we are currently updating the site's skin on both the homepage and the forums. We are having a problem with our apache server right now and the number of connections, we have tried to up this but it's still spiking. We are working on the issues and if I have further updates I'll post them here.

I didn't see any change either, so I went to the homepage and the first word out of my mouth was "wow". You guys did an amazing job.
If this is the only problem with the slow loading then I don't really mind it anymore.

Eew. Uber-lag to the extreme. This skin is a little too "clean" to me. Not bad though.

i like the new skin n everything cuz change is good (sometimes) but wow 30 minutes to be able to write a post and then probably 5-10 more for it to take me back to the thread >.<

With Wiki having issues too, i'm sure there are alot of peeps suffering from GW info withdrawals.
BTW: load times (for me) are faster than old skin loads, assuming connection of first attempt. I'm sure you guys will get the bugs out soon, GG

Looks nice, but why the change? I though it was fine as it was. Not that I'm complaining, just curious. I assume it was done to add new features, but I see you said it was just to change the skin. Time will tell I suppose.I'll check back in a few hours and see how it's going.

To be honest, I don't hate it but I liked the old format much more. This one's a bit bright on the eyes.
Not to mention, it takes INSANELY long to load up everything now. Maybe it's just me, but I've heard complains from others not being able to load as well. Now I understand, it's new the computers loading it all for the first time. But my god, it's taking ages.

actually, they've been having apache issues today, things are a little better right now and i believe they'll continue to improve.

Also, if you prefer the old version that is available to you. Look in the bottom left-hand corner of any screen on the forum for the forum version drop down box and you'll want the Guild Wars Guru V2A or V1B. There's also the old old version still available as well with the Guild Wars Guru V1A.
