new player question re: heroes

Hi, I just bought Guild wars prophecies, Factions and Nightfall all at once... I have a few questions about how some things work though..

1) In the Prophecies campaign, are there any heroes I can recruit the way you can get Koss early in Nightfall?

2) Are there any hereos to recruit in the Factions campaign?

3) Is there anyway that I can play the Nightfall or Prophecy campaign with an Assassin character? Or do I have to beat Factions with my assassin, then travel to Nightfall/Prophecy campaign?

you can travel to any other campaign if you have it unlocked on any character
you do it form the main city in each campaign
prophecies- Lions Arch
factions- Kaining Center
Nightfall- Kamadan

LA->kaining: captain greywind
LA->Kamadan: guardsman Figo
Kaining ->LA/Nightfall guy close to the harbor exit, forget his name
i haven't brought any characters from kamadan yet. but i'm sure it works the same way

you can get a hero at lions arch and at kaining center, you can't get it earlier in the game that those 2 cities
in factions you can get Zenmai, and assassin
in prophecies you get Olian, a Necromancer

1*) First hero you can meet here is Olias in Lion's Arch city, later in game.
2*) Only Zemnai, in Kaineng center.
3) You cant start in P/NF as assasin, need to start in Factions, advance to Kaineng Center and from here you can move to other campaigns. You dont need to finish all Factions first.

*) "Hero thing" is exclusive for Nightfall. These heroes here will be only because you have also Nightfall installed. Players who dont have Nightfall wont get Olias/Zenmai in other campaigns.

If u want to play all 3 chapters with heros i suggest u start in NF and then travel over to Prophecies after u have 3 of em a monk a warrior and an ele/ranger. Because in Prophecies u can get alot of skills for "free" by doing quests.

Although if u want to play as an assassin as your main character thru all chapters start a char in Factions get to lvl 20(or whatever lvl u can get to when u get to main city then ship over and do the "newbie" area in NF so u can get your heros and then ship over to prophecies to take advantage of the free skills from quests.

If he wants to start as assasin he wont get too much advantage of free skills in Prophecies as assa in Prophecies wont get any skills for its primary profession - only for seconday
