I hate to ask such a noobish question, but here goes...
Can assassins be created in Nightfall?
I know it takes about 30 seconds to find this out, but my gaming comp at home has a burned out motherboard (which I thought was a problem with the power supply, but it wasn't...), and now I am rather anxious to know this....

To awnser your question: No, Assassins are Factions-only, you can take them to Elona and Tyria, but they can only be created in Cantha

Faction is NOT an expansion, nor is Nightfall.

Standalone campaigns, but still, it makes no sense to me how anyone would think Assassin and Ritualist are available for NF character creation.

That's not true. You couldn't get the Factions skills without it. Anyone who plays GW and doesn't get all the campaigns is pretty worthless IMHO.

Not everybody is an ultra-dedicated player who wants all the chapters.
Maybe somebody read the description of Factions (Asian theme, Assassins and Ritualists) and decided to skip that chapter to see what came in the future. I fail to see how that would make them worthless.
For what it's worth, I do own all the chapters and have every intention of taking my Canthan Assassin and my Elonian Warrior through all three chapters.

Assassin and Ritualist goes with the Asian theme, not the Egyptian/Islamic theme, thus it won't make any sense.
