Mystery of mirrors (possible spoilers)

During exploration of Nighfall's Forum Highlands area, in very southern part of it, after a short mountain corridor I found "shattered stone-like door" with pulsating glow behind it.



After a short talk with my guildie we decided to explore this area again, and... when we came to the door, he looked to the north then up and noticed pair of mirrors on tops of two hills. One of these mirrors was sending a beam of light in direction of the other, and second mirror's beam was targeting "my" door



We started to look up and found... the other pair of mirrors



.. and they were targeting another door!



We noticed also a little strange waterfall with two figures and some glowing signs.



Anyone has any ideas? We tried "everything", talked to npcs, cleared monsters, etc.

Do you think this can be some puzzle/quest or just scenery?

Probably just a piece of the scenery, I remember during the BWEs when Rotscale was where he is now (he was in the Sanctum Cay mission after release, for a long time), there was a vortex fog in the door behind him, and many in my guild speculated what it could be. Then after release, nothing was there in Majesty's Rest, not even Rotscale... And, although Rot is back where he belongs, nothing has come of that foggy door yet. Likely nothing ever will be added there, there are a lot of places in GW where it looks like something could or even should be there. However, unfortunately, most of these areas seem to be merely decorative rather than functional.

Probably just scenery but cool nonetheless.
