As previously mentioned, the Elonian daggers have different skins for white, blue, purple and gold variants. In another thread I noticed that a purple Ancient Scythe didn't have the third "claw" on the bottom that my gold Ancient Scythe had. Has anyone else noticed other weapons with this occurrence? (Different skin for the rarity level)

Yes the ancient scythes have something to do with the color of the hand and the number of fingers

Nice touch though, now it makes it even harder to get the exact skin you want.

Hey, it's a good thing if you like the blue ones. They would be less expensive.

I havent seen any "perfect base" blue weapons yet... not sure if they even exist (minus the collector stuff ofcourse)

Sure they do. Theres the IDS. Then theres inscriptions you can add to normal blues as long as they dropped with an inscription.

Ok, i forgot about the IDS (always req9, blue and fixed haft) but this discussion is about Nightfall weapons (different color = same name, different skin), so: are there any Nightfall blue weapons with max stats??

Yes, but it's the difficulty in getting both max stats and an inscription slot.

The purple version seems to have a shading vector error (or something) with the double points. If you have a pair you'll know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure Ruby daggers have different skins... if the image on Wiki is a gold pair, then my purples aren't the same (and aren't as attractive either).
