Nightfall: Mission sequence and common problems

My necro, who would have reduced this with weakness, was one of the two dead. He his me with another wand and I'm dead. I don't remember his basic wand attacks being so freakishly strong. In comparison, *Shiro* seemed weak.

So I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem. I've read a lot of Gate of Madness posts and mostly it seems like Shiro giving people a hard time.

I guess that the best strategy at this point would be to get all of my party down into the crater (somehow avoiding that annoying body block in the downramp; h/h are retarded), hitting shiro with blurred vision, hitting lich with weakness, killing the lich while party is at full health, then kite into the backend of the shrines to drop Shiro's aggro. Get the bonuses, and redo the same thing to Shiro in the middle.

Can anyone give me other ideas to work with? Anything is appreciated, thanks.

okay, so I finally did it. the key is to rush into the center, right next to the bosses, while they are both talking. This alleviates all problems with getting body blocked at the stairs.

Key skills:

Master of Whispers with Empathy, SS, Reckless Haste, Enfeebled Blood
Olias: Blurred Vision
Koss: Wild Blow
My Rit: Pain, Vampirism, Bloodsong, Painful Bond, Summon Spirits

Curses Necro provides damage and protection from shiro. Blurred vision is another layer of protection that is only absent for 4 seconds. Wild blow is of course necessary. My spirits added a good 60 dps with painful bond.

Positioning: Henchmen in the middle, Heroes in a triangle outside of that. Also, if you are spirit spamming as well, make sure to put them in a triangle as well. If shiro ends up next to them (and this is rare unless riposting shadows kicks in) he will attack them and quickly knock them out.

Mob the lich first and he's toast. Then it's just kiting, and handing out curses that cause miss % and damage on attack. Don't even need the shrine bonuses.

My necro is from propheicies and has completed Tyria protection title. I am interested to do the same for elona, however, I am short of 2 missions. I have completed the missions on istani island.

I have checked wiki for the nightfall missions however I still am unable to find them. My title is at 17/20 mission. I know one is the gate of desolation (wurm mission)

Is there a program that I can use to find these to missions? what do i do? Its driving me maaaddddddddd atm

Post the list of missions that you have completed, then we can tell you what the missing two are

[edit]...although I'm willing to bet that it's Rilohn Refuge or Pogahn Passage plus Dzagonur Bastion or Dasha Vestibule. Those are the two places where the mission progression "forks" and you need to go back to them after completion of the chapter (usually).

hi my name is Raygon Ironhead. im haveing probs. the last mainquest i did was to become a sp general i have done that and i now dont know were to go to get the next quest. i have heard that it is and a hero will lead them and to get it form the sp sancuwary but i cant find it any were. i did just get a quest form the sp monk just outside the gates. idk if that is it or not id think so but not to sure will some one help me.

You're still on Istani?

Talk to the Sunspears in Kamadan, one of them I think has the next quest.

Noob question, but I'm level 7 and the only quest I can find is The Honorable General. I can't find any more quests to get faction points, so am I supposed to just grind points using the bounties or did I miss something?

Ok I have a question and sorry if it was already answered I couldn't find it. If I have Mildred the Sly can I get Master of Whispers. I didn't know at the time which one I wanted and I don't care for Mildred. Any ideas or thoughts?

Once you have chosen the Master, you cannot get Margrid until after you have finished Nightfall.

At that time you will be able to talk to the heroes you didn't choose and get missions to obtain them.

I hate this chapter.

I bought it and deleted a toon from Proph figuring that it should be great fun.
NOT. i got lost. No green arrow where to do what to do. The story is Choppy at best.

So now yesterday I tried it again cause I want my title for completing this mess.

I got my sorry but to the island and guess what? My quest Log is lased with quests.

I can not figure out what quests are from what will all the chapters and the GW:EN. Some I can don't get me wrong but some of them...forget it.

It also looks like there is a broken link to the primary quests as I was reading. What am i supposed to do with that?

Am I to delete all of my quest in my quest log so I can figure out what is what? What about the headings of where these quests will fall under what HEADER?

Very confusing and I wish I never bought this stinking cruddy piece if wasted time. The only thing this chapter is good for is a headache and frustration. I will need to drink heavily and have blurred vision in RL to be able to play through with chapter without pulling all my hair out...and feeling it.

God the second to last mission is kicking my ass. Can't seem to get my hero henchmen to use Wild Blow well enough (and once 'that guy' gets to a certain health, he never seems to lose any more).

I am having major trouble with this quest/mission whatever.
I get to General Huduh and I attack him until he turns non hostile, but THEN he doesn't follow me!! argh he just stands there.
So fine I said forget him and headed to the Bone Palace, killed everything there and the gate would not open and let me in to kill the guy inside.
What am I doing wrong?

Guys I am having some serious problems finding this quest. I have looked where wiki said and even some other places. I am stuck and cant go any farther until I find it. And what do I have to do to get a tourment shield. thank you very much for your time.

OK I've completed the Kodonur Crossroads mission and bonus, but can't talk to Lonai for the Mysterious Message quest. I've tried finding Magrid by leaving Yohlan Haven into Marga Coast but she's not there. I leave Kodonur Crossroads to go into Dejarin Estate and find Master of Whispers but he doesn't have any quests when I talk to him. Helppppp?
