Ok, so I've been messing with the dervish earth prayers elite Vow of Strength. Seeing as you can't use attack skills with it, I've been trying other ways to further increase my attack power. A nice one besides this one could be D/A with critical hits or something. However, I don't own factions so I made one from prophecies and nightfall.

Haven't seen this build yet, but if it has been posted, I apologize.

Used mainly for PvE, haven't tried it yet with PvP.

D/E

Scythe Mastery:11 (1+2) (Don't need this as high, just as high as your weapons req. probably)
Earth Prayers:8
Mysticism: 10
Water Magic: 10

Skills:

Vow of Strength (E) (Adds 35% damage for 10 seconds at my setting)

Energy: 5, Cast: 1/4, Recharge: 10

Vital Boon (+Max Health and heals when removed.)

Energy: 5, Cast: 1, Recharge: 20

Heart of Fury (For 15 seconds, attack 33% faster and when removed, burns foe for 2 seconds. Might consider adding more into mysticism to make it 3 seconds of fire.)

Energy: 10, Cast: 3/4, Recharge: 20

Mystic Vigor (For 20 seconds you gain +5 health for every enchantment on you when you hit with an attack)

Energy: 5, Cast: 1/4, Recharge: 15

Freezing Gust (Good snare)

Energy: 10, Cast: 1, Recharge: 5

Conjure Frost (For 60 seconds, you do +14 (at my setting) damage when using a cold weapon)

Energy: 10, Cast:1, Recharge: 30

Faithful Intervention (Healed for 110 health when health drops below 50%)

Energy: 4, Cast: 2, Recharge: 20

Sunspear Rebirth Signet (Same as res sig except ally is ressed at your location)

Energy: 0, Cast: 3, Recharge: Morale

Equipment I use:

Max Collector's Suntouched Scythe

Req. 9
15^50
Icy mod
(Would definetly like to add on a 20% enchanting, but can't find one for a price I'd like to pay)
Customized

Max Armor

Options

Using a fiery or shocking weapon instead of icy. I used icy because thats what I had on me. If you use shocking, you can use something like gust or shock. Not sure about fiery.

Instead of:

Mystic Vigor, use...

Zealous Renewal (Gain energy for each time you hit within 20 seconds)
Balthazar's Rage (Gain health for each time you hit within 20 seconds)

Instead of Freezing Gust use

Ice Shards (Almost the same but higher recharge. Also a projectile.)

How to use:

Cast Faithful Intervention as soon as you zone.
Before engaging the enemy, cast Vital Boon and Conjure Frost.
While fighting, cast Heart of Fury and Mystic Vigor if you have enough energy.
Use Vow of Strength while fighting as soon as you can. It'll last as long as it recharges so you can keep it up almost constantly.

Pros:

If the damage works like this, it can add 70% damage and whatever Conjure Frost will give you due to the foe's armor.

Uses that +70% damage in a 33% increased attack rate for 15 seconds.

Can be selfhealing up to a point.

Cons:

If enchants are removed, it doesn't work as well.

No attack skills.

Useless against blind.

Possible problems with energy. If my skill order doesn't work for you, set up a good order for yourself. However with the Dervish ability to gain energy and health when an enchantment ends, it probably won't be a problem.

My PvE Vow of Strength build is D/P, and uses "Go For The Eyes!" and "Find Their Weakness!" to bolster Vow-based scythe damage with high crit chance coupled with deep wound on crit.

I was trying to find a way to fit Aggressive Refrain in, but at 25e base, I wouldn't use it unless you have the bling for radiant insignias and a friend spamming "Watch Yourself!" or the like to make sure that you rarely have to recast it. Heart of Fury makes for decent enough IAS as it is.

The build itself:
"Go For The Eyes!"
"Find Their Weakness!"
Conviction
Vow of Strength {E}
Mystic Regeneration
Heart of Fury
Vital Boon/Faithful Intervention
Resurrection/Sunspear Rebirth Signet

I actually bought and tried "Go for the Eyes!", but I didn't like how it only works for one attack. I haven't tried any other paragon skills with it though. I liked how I could cast conjure frost and forget about it for 60 seconds unless it was removed (but with all the covering enchants...).
