Do spirits and wards affect minions?

Do favorable winds, winnowing and ward against melee affect your bone horrors, fiends and minions?

id be most grateful if anyone could answer this question

Winnowing does, Fav. Winds doesn't, I would suspect the Wards don't either.

Spirits work because they affect everything in the region (FW doesn't work because minions don't fire "arrows", but other spirits work - Predatory Season and Greater Conflag work well with minions). The Wards affect only affect "allies", which doesn't include animated summons, so my assumption is that they get no benefit from Wards.

Actually bone fiends shoot arrows.

And the bone horrors a melee so the ward would work against them, as well as aegis.

If you test it, you'll find they actually don't (or rather, the game doesn't consider what they shoot to be "arrows" for the purposes of FW).

Minions, Fiends and Horrors are most definately 'allies'.

They DO count as allies. You can trigger IWAY with minions. I have no reason to suspect Wards wouldn't work on them either.

well taste of death aand verata's sacrifice mention undead allies. so would they be included in the category of the general ally?
