ok, ion this one, i have zero care if offend the users of touch rangers, but they make me sick. most of the players that use them think they're better than everyone else, and one touch ranger in RA (if you don't have a monk/heal rit) can kill anyone in the room unless you have some crippling blah blah blah mess. they're overpowered, and anet still has yet to do anything for this bs. you hit 2 skills and kill a team. that's nonsense. only thing thats nearly as bad is searing flames (ridiculus move). it irratates me to hear people go "well touch is so easily countered!!". wtf? no it's not??? you don't set your builds up to counter JUST touch on the offhand that you see one or two. "crippling aguish and mass degen, with rangers falling from the sky crippling him blah blah... " what?? not many teams in any pvp are set to counter something as lame as this. i know for a fact many agree, and to those that say "you're just whining".. let's see you beat a touch without preperation for one running your way.
btw, i AM annoyed and i don't flare out like this that often. sorry if i'm offensive to those that don't use touch builds, but i'm just irratated is all. i myself can kill them with my sin (who i use the most), but by the time i do, the rest of my team is killed by him. sigh.

You're right, you don't, but you should have at least one skill in your bar to allow you to kite. If they can't touch you, they can't heal and you can kill them pretty damn easily. Not to mention that NF includes skills that specifically disable touch skills.

WEll based on your guru icon i see you play assassin, and based on these assumptions any assassin (and warrior) shoudl easily be able to outdamage a toucher i mean dam with 16 swordsmanship i EASILY hit between 60-150 on them with ym sword, not to mention vampiric, which means one dead ass toucher.. quit complaining, adapt, have fun doing it

Dude, Degen and Soul Barbs spike can own a toucher EASY if you do things right. Rangers and Warriors can cripple the guy and flee to safety. Elementalists can just blow him to f***ing pieces. Monks have Scourge Healing.

ok, so touch rangers rank from annoying to decent depending on the quality of the team they are in and team they are up against. you dont have to plan your bar around them, just dont play stupid. if you are a melee class, dont just stand there and try and hit through their stances or throw dirt, crip or kite and let teammates do the dmg.
and hell, if you got a monk in your team, you dont even need to kite. touch rangers dont do an awful lot of dmg, its just that they heal themselves as they dmg. if you hold out of 20-40 seconds, they have wasted almost all of their energy and prob have gone into the reserves by switching to two 15e/-1 weps. now they have no energy and actually are into the negative.
and if you still refuse to kite and fight them correctly, then do this. make a wammo. give him purge and wild blow. hell, throw in mending and power attack if you want. break his stances and purge his throw dirt. you now have a defenseless touchie who even you can beat.i mean seriously, give me another build that a wammo can mow through.

I don't use a Toucher because I'm basically a PvE player but I think that the Touch Ranger is a great build.
