FPS, "Quickness" slower in full mode than window mode...

I'm not sure what this means, or how I can fix it...
Seeing GW played on a friends *uber* comp, and then comparing it to my gameplay, theres one thing I notice...

His camera "swings" faster than mine...
I don't know if this is connected to FPS, or what... but when I run GW in full mode (1024X768) I do notice a slight sluggish pull when I right-click swing my camera around...
Hell- just the camera moving on it's own seems sluggish from what my friends computer showed me...

But- when I play GW in window mode, everything is much smoother... The camera moves like it should, and even though the gamma disables and everything is dark, things are smoother when acted out...

Is this a RAM problem (1g)- mouse problem- video card problem? (GEforce 6100 128mb)

I really want my GW to be smooth :P

It's a general lag between mouse clcik and GW reaction. It's not as noticabel with otehr things, but it is there, eg skill only start activating a bit AFTEr you click em.

Actually, I dont have that problem...
I dont use the mouse for skills anyway- but I mainly use the mouse to move my camera around during battles...

when I right-click-hold my mouse, and then swing my camera, everything starts at the right time, but the motion of the camera seems sluggish...
The camera movement increases if I play GW in window mode...

I think it has something to do with my video card and running GW in 1024X768...

I'm pretty sure its the card...
Everything sems sluggish now that I look for it...
Not only does the camera seem to bog down, but character movement seems choppy as well...

Of course- if I window GW and shrink it down to about half the screen size, everything runs great...

Drivers been updated?

It's strange because running a 3D game in a window is generally considered to be more system intensive.

Thats the thing...

I know I have a GEforce 6100 and all... but I'm not sure where to go to download the drivers- or even check to see if I have them...

Plus, I have dial up... I dont know if I could handle a 60mb download...

but if anyone can tell me where to go for a driver update for a 6100... cookies to you!

Not really... Traditionally, if you have a crappy graphics card, it has always been better to run games in a "software rendered" mode. I had to do this for Unreal Tournament and some of the HalfLife expansions on my older comp. I would run the games windowed, and things sped up much faster. Think about it. It's much easier to render images of a lower resolution than of a higher resolution. Really, a game runnign full screen is just like a maximized window. It takes more power to draw that big of an image. Same thing happens when you try to play a video. The framerate may not be as smooth in full screen as it is when it's rendered in a smaller area.

I have XP- media center edition, so I'm downloading that one...
I would go for the regular XP file, but eh... better to do what it tells me to than screw it up...
