Echo
Sidra
The skill Archane Echo is really starting to frustrate me. I've got it at around 18 seconds worth of having the skill repeatably usable. That's pretty good for me. My main gripe is- are we supposed to count this down or something? It'd be good if ANet could include like a sort of cooldown-bar where they showed us how much time we had left before Echo turned back again. Good idea?

They have that spinning circle thing in all skills... is that not true for Archane?

IT would benefit ppl but I am pretty sure some enthusiats would counter with the fact that it would make things a little too easy.

Reversing the current cooldown effect would suffice.

Really though, you should try to keep track of those things yourself.

Here's what they should do:
Cast Arcane Echo -> The Enchantment Appears in the top left
Cast a spell -> Arcane Echo becomes shaded in the top left, and can't be removed unless you die (and it would make sense, because AC resets when you die anyway). So as Arcane Echo is about to leave, it will blink a few times like all other skills.

I'd like to see a recharge effect (with a diff kind of color, or backwards, or something) that counts it down for you.

I could be wrong, aslong as you use it before it recharges, your pretty safe!
My gripe is that it doesnt always work.
There have been times when ive selected Echo, and then gone to use a fire nuking skill. Ive got the spell off but echo hasnt caught it!!!!!
Its a bit annoying.

Did you check to see that AC wasn't removed? There's alot of enchant strippers out there.

If you use a 3 spell second when the copy only has 2 seconds left, your spell will fail.

You should just know the max number of spells you should get off AE without half recharge time (HRT).
So when you AE a 10 reload spell, you will get 2 casts without HRT.
That's AE, spell, echoed spell, wait 10 seconds, echoed spell.
You are at 11+ seconds by now with casting time, so no thirth cast, unless you had a HRT.
Just watch the spell recharge, when you see it has HRT, you can cast an other one.
When you are casting 2 sec reloads you probably won't count them, but why would you echo a 2 seconds skill?
