Idea: PVE Island available to ALL chapters

Subtract the idea of needing rank3 or protector/grand master cartographer title. r3 can be bought and the protector/grand titles can take a long time to get. If you needed those to enter the place would be full of elitist instead of average pve players looking for fun.
Maybe instead the requirement should be that you must have beat at least one campaign. Which is much more attainable and people can't really be run through a campaign without spending MAJOR cash.

The only thing I'm worried about is how ANet is more worried about just pushing out the Campaigns and doesn't worry much about other updates. As far as I know, other than the skill updates, we don't get much updates other than when new campaigns are being released. As far as I know, the only major update we've had would be SF, I'd be pleased to be corrected though.
So far I don't think I've seen an ANet representative even reply to this thread =/

Why not make it so that to access this place, you must be ascended? It seem like a good divider, because by the time you're ascended, you already know a bit about the game and won't bug the other players with idiotic questions like "How do you open a trade window?"
Another reason why an Ascension limit would be good is because it is a REQUIRED part of the game, unlike titles (which you must grind for) and rank (which you must also grind for).

Great Idea!
Here's an Imho cool addition
Inns in the main city, these are small zones to wich you can not map travel but they're not instanced. Like the elite missions in factions, but with these you can simply enter a portal. Each of these Inns will be about diffirent things ( The Rolling Coin Inn for discussing farming, The Hero's Inn for discussing missions, The Tinkerer's Inn for discussing builds etc. ) This is to prevent the main cities from becoming pure chat spams wich are unreadable. Trading should be disabled in these inns. This, combined with the inability to map travel, should keep WTB/WTS spammers away. You can even make parties for more private discussions, and ofcourse an Innkeeper to help you get the drunkard titles while happily chatting. Some of these Inns may also have an requirement to enter ( Cartographer's Inn requires atleast 1 continent to be explored for 80% for example. ) This doesn't really serve any function, but it's cool for people who have the titles :P.

Ahmmm...
Sounds good, they way you are saying it... but its complicated, there are a lot of thing they would have to implement.
And at the end, the only Good thing that it will end up adding, its the "Temple of the Five Gods", where u could meet players from every chapter. so it would be much easier to add another outpost at the Great temple of Balthazar.
Auction house? Its not that i dont like it, but the capital cities would be empty, and trade channel will have no more utility. And think about the new system they will have to create? Really not worth it, it would me much easier if they indicated guildwarsguru.com/auctions as a GOOD trading system at their main page.
Yes, we all want new areas, new bosses, new itens, new pets...all that is new is good.
If they are adding new areas, they are addin at the new continets, or at the old ones (like the elite mission that is coming at the next "big", or new ToE areas). If they are adding new bosses, they are adding at these new areas, that will have a whole storyline involving it, like The Deep or Urgoz's Warren. New itens? They can add them at any updade (remember jade swords, or unges of the oni?) u dont need a new area just for it. New pets? ok... i think there is enough pets in the game.
I dont want you to say to me "wtf u noob u dont know wtf ur saying, every1 like it, noob".
This is what happened to that star wars mmorpg, they posted something like this at their main forum "what would you like to be added in the game?". What came out of it? Jedi became one of the primary classes. What happened? every1 played as jedi, and the rest of the classes got absolutelly underused. Its not just because the gamers want it, is that they are going to add it.
Just a resume, what are they going to do with the other locations where u can access underworld and fow? Close them?!
I wont say "/signed" or "/not signet" because i dont want to ruin ur expectations. But hey, in optimal conditions it would work

It would be REALLY nice to have a place that ties all the chapers together. I fear the spread of people & inability to form groups of REAL PEOPLE with the current buisness model.
I was thinking of an addition:
Have a central place to "Ascend". Since the Ascention/Closer to the stars/etc missions are important to progressing in the games, it becomes a huge problem when you cannot find groups to acctually do these missions. It might be nice to be able to centralize this. Although this may not work based on the stories.
