Normally I am not that kind of ideas posters, there are much more inventive ppl around here, but after some search rounds and scrolling over the index of this ideas forums I missed one idea, so here it is...

When I started NF on the beginners Island and entered the "heroes" training I pictured me a new kind of mission: complete heroes control, without participating yourself. In general you create a sort of RTS type of gameplay inside the game...

Picture a THK kind of defense where you have heroes at your disposal, but not your own char. Wouldnt that be fun?

Discuss pls...

/notsigned against the posted who totally flamed the idea so fast.

/signed at the the OP idea.

Im wouldnt say its a perfect idea, but I like the idea of having a mission or two in the game where you can BE your hero.

For instance;

Your main character might have been captured and is indisposed. You then have to take control of one of your Heroes and you lead your team to rescue him.

You might even expand up on that and have the mission be broken into 3 parts. Each one requiring you to BE a different hero at each stage. Each stage requiring a different profession or build to succeed.

Or you might have the ability to cycle throw which Hereo you are.

Obviously it would only last within the mission(s) and once its over, you return to being your main character, otherwise you would essentionally be giving people 3 new characters which they have 100% control over.

If anything, it will incourage people to actually think about their heroes skills. Because you'l have to use them.

It can give an insight into what its like to actually be a different profession, without having to create one which you might later delete.

I like!!!!
