Slightly off-topic, it annoys me that NPCs make a statement relevant to wherever you are in the campaign when you click on them like that. So if you had just gotten to the Bazaar and you saw someone who had beaten the game click on that guy, you'd be exposed to some pretty major spoilers.

Well actually I don't think thats a mistake made by dev team...
The guy is a Vabbi Noble, and Vabbians are obsessed with their parties, full of vanity etc. Imho he's just making fool of himself in front of your character - he heard that new god was created by a Sunspear Spearmarshal so he said "Hey, look at me, Im so pro, I knew the person thats a God now, and that person even was present at my parties". But sience he didn't really know Kormir (and its hard for me to belive that Kormir would join his parties when Nightfall is coming, nor I think she'd go to Vabbi for that before - she doesn't seem a playful type) he mistook her sex.
