Heh, I think its rather ironically funny that you get the stupid hero when you don't read the dialogs.

If you don't take the quest reward, you can go back to Honour Hill, abandon, and get the right one (which is Norgu; I can think of no conceivable reason to take Goren over him).

NVM, nope, no reason I can think of

I thought you needed either goren or Margrid to get into Dasha before you beat the game, but you apparently don't (which could be useful if you were say a leadership Paragon looking to cap Angelic Bond).

In my group, Goren solo tanked the final ele djinn boss in the vEstibule after the boss caused the entire party (save one minionless MM) to wipe, after we had taken 10 extra minutes doing the masters. I will be forever in his debt.
