Many fine hero builds are posted here, but not for ranger heroes it seems
I do have a soft spot for Magrid and whenever I can bring a hero she's the first one I choose. Currently she is set up as interrupt ranger with Broadhead Arrow as elite, but I am not really sure a) whether that really works good or b) whether mesmer heroes are the better hero interrupters due to their uber AI. If anybody has some good suggestions for my Magrid, whatever task and whatever skills that might be just as long she uses a bow, I'd be happy to hear those!
For completeness' sake this is my Magrid's current build:
Skills (order matters)
[skill]"Watch Yourself!"[/skill] - using the adrenaline and group defense
[skill]Read the Wind[/skill] - faster arrows
[skill]Broad Head Arrow[/skill] - make 'em dazed
[skill]Distracting Shot[/skill] - interrupt 1
[skill]Savage Shot[/skill] - interrupt 2
[skill]Crossfire[/skill] - random damage skill
[skill]Whirling Defense[/skill] - self defense
[skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill] - instant rez, just add dead body
Attributes (no runes yet)
Marksmanship 12
Wilderness Survival 11
Tactics 6

I ended up getting Acolyte Jin instead as my ranger.
I make her use
Practiced Stance - For the next 20/32/36 seconds, your preparations are ready 50% faster and last 24%/45%/52% longer.
Choking Gas - For the next 1/10/13 seconds, your arrows deal 1/7/9 more damage and spread Choking Gas on impact. Choking Gas interrupts enemies attempting to cast spells.
Favourable Winds - Create a level 1/8/11 Spirit. For creatures within its range, arrows move twice as fast as normal and deal +6 damage. This Spirit dies after 30/126/158 seconds.
Distracting Shot
Savage Shot
And whatever skills you want to run to fill up the gaps. I think the only problem with this is that choking gas has a long recharge time.

I suppose you meant Expertise instead of Wilderness Survival, because you aren't using any WS skills, and some energy management would be needed with interrupt-spamming. Great build alltogether, will try.

I've a soft spot for Margrid as well
For pve I've been toying with following:
expertise 12+2+1
marksmanship 12+2
any zealous recurve bow
Glass Arrows{e}
Splinter Shot/or Forked Arrow
Savage Shot
Distracting Shot
Needling Shot
Whirling Defense
free slot (I use Hexbreaker Aria / Song of Concentration / Watchyourself / any shout or chant to synergize with my paragon's/Sogolon's echoes)
Res Sig
Sometimes she uses needling when enemy's above 50% hp though...but sometimes she performs it very nicely. Also, I found Splinter to be very useful for all those whirling defense using mobs as well. It's very nice added damage as they're usually clumped together.
