R8 Sunspear Castleean - How to earn more Points

This thread is only for people with R8 sunspear title.
I'm making this thread cos many people are stuck at R8(Sunspear Castellan) and we are still waiting for the update.

Firstly here are the facts;
1. Currently no NCP will give you blessing once you reach R8.
2. Anet(Gail Grey) said this wasn't a bug, but it was done intenionally. (probabaly so it wouldn't be too easy to max the title)
3. Anet(Gail Grey) said there will be new update that will allow ways to people with R8 to earn point. but we are still waiting.

I got R8 on 2nd day of NF, so i'm getting sick of waiting. (i farmed sunspear points to level up my heroes, which made all the missions easy)


So now the solutions;
1. According to at least 2 different people in this forum, they have earned point by farming with R7 or below.
According to them, you still don't get blessing but you can still earn point. And I was also told that it works in Destolation areas. They said it didn't work in some areas.
Now I've tried this with different people in many different areas but I didn't earn single points. However I think it still might work if I changed few things. I was the leader when I tried with different people, if I wasn't the leader and/or if there were more than one R7 it might have worked. I'm going to try this later and I will post the results here.
2. Quests. I haven't done every single sunspear quests. There might be quests you can earn points during or cancel the quest after you earn the points. Or you might get repeatable points if do the quest with another player, etc.
3. Email Anet. Send bug report to Anet. They'll fix it quicker if they get enough reports.


I can understand Anet stopped the NPC blessing after R8 to put some grind to this title. But they did this without allowing alternative method once u reach R8? and still no update?

It was my understanding that people simply farmed monsters that res'd themselves in a zone to get to r8~r9. There have been many other threads about this topic IIRC, and personally I just believe you get r8~r9 through the elite mission (*crosses fingers*).
