Gates Of Desolation

This is the hardest mission in the game for me . I cant kill that monk centaur that allways res people and resses himself somehow after 2-3 sec his death. I am going crazy. This is about my 15th try. Of course this problem is at beginning I dont waste much time. But I cant kill that wave. That monk allways resses people. Btw can you say what shall I do after killing him.

EDIT: I won that part but I cant do it after all. Is there a way to skip this mission. The whole thing is double attack time now :PPPP. I have basalt grotto on my map. I can make runs. I am really good runner. I can run bone palace or shlahja. Can I continue with primary quests to storyline.

That IS the storyline. That IS the primary quest. You have to do it.

You have to do the mission to get your wurm. I suggest staying up on the hill and pulling all the mobs up there rather than fighting in the little pit.

you can defeat the mission rather easily... get at least 1 ranger/mesmer hero, equip her with nothing but interruptes...

distract shot, savage shot, power spike, cry, what ever interrupt, ... etc etc

get her to mark the Paragon boss, who carries siggy of return, then kill the acolyte like no tomorrow...
after acolyte dies, the boss will try to use siggy of return, but since your ranger marked him, it will keep getting interrupted... kill the boss immediately, then the rest is breeze...

after that however, queen wurm and two boss will come to attack you, ... queen wurm deals alot of aoe dmg... be prepared, especially she's flanked by two bosses...

edit: ditto above... queen also use range AoE attacks.. if you get too close to the sulfurous waste, you'd get hit for ~250 per hit...

I will compleate this mission anyway but I usually get bored of a mission that I tryed a lot of time and failed. So if there is a way I would like to continue the game. Few days later do the mission again

There is no way to move on with the game except by doing missions and primary quests. And really, if you're having trouble with Awakened Acolytes and Awakened Cavaliers, you're not going to like the rest of the Desolation.

I found i rather fun actually

I finished at last. I am having A LOT OF FUN while controlling wurms. They are very fun. Even agains armies we are overwhelming them

Make sure to flag your heroes and henchies far enough back so they dont run into sulfer also. Let the mobs come to you.

hehe, this mish was easy for me. 90% of the enemies you fight in the beginning take 2x holy damage, and im a smite monk.
