Does this make sense?

I seem to randomly crash while on the mainland in Nightfall. I never crash anywhere else, esp. in Factions or Prophecies. Is it possible that the activity or graphics (whatever) on the mainland of Nightfall is over-heating my GPU? I've totally updated drivers, tons of space, memory etc. I've a x1600 pro (but no sensors so I can't tell how hot it gets), but when I touch it it is damn hot . I've run the suggested motherboard program in the stickies and the CPU and Case never get about 60 degrees c. Anyone have any idea? I've ordered a GPU coolant system just for the heck of it, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone else has had similar issues? Thanks.

The GPU should have some sort of sensor that can show the heat being generated. Is it that you haven't been able to find a program capable of reading the temperatures, or that the card literally does not have sensors? To my knowlage, anything recent would have temperature monitoring devices built into it. Check with ATI Tool, and see if it can monitor the temperatures.

What are your CPU temperatures under load? Preferably when 100% load, for instance a CPU temperature reading while Prime95 is working the CPU to 100%.
