it has been very entertaing to me for some time now the mentality of most people that play wa/mo's. i want to see what stories of wierd wamo behavior you have seen. ok the strangest i think are all the trading district wamos who think theyre the best to have the newest 15k so they look tough while calling others noobs.

Hmmm...A thread meant to encourage negative sterotypes of people who play W/Mo. I smell a flame fest coming.

I like the fissure-helm wammos with 15k glads and a black FoW helmet. The gladiator's armour is too revealing and the helm is too small so they look even fatter and more disproportionate. They claim to have umpteen stacks of ectos and Crystalline Swords, Serpent Axes, Dwarvens and so on and will want an Elemental Sword because its NF's Fiery Dragon Sword.

I usually Screenshot a good fissure-helm wammo so I might make a collage and post it >_>

I play warrior, often times /monk for rebirth........So i rezemble that remark, Anyway i do have a funny wammo story, I'm 55 monking gates of kryta. I come back to town to sell my items, and i get an invite. i reject it, invite agian, reject it, invite agian. So i join group, say in team chat" hey i'm farming" they beg me to help them. Being a nice guy and the fact that i can template to quickchange i diside to help them. But i allso disided to finish of the witchs brews and other stuff wile monking for them. Now for the funny part, we go for the bonus there are 3 wammos one 20 one 14 one 12, the lvl 14 was a big time noob, they stop in fights to grab drops, over agro, all the classics, anyway, the chest with the tablet pops open XXXX the distroyer lvl 14 wammo picks up tablet. we head back toward the town. Says XXXX "why does it say Drop Item on my screen?" I was talking on vent and figured someone would wisper her to tell her, But no ,next group of enemys pops up she hits frenzy, dashs right up next to the wraith takes a hit uses heal sig and drops like a shot...................in chat lines its says XXXX the distroyer has dropped the tablet shards................i about fell out of my chair laughing

If Anet made rebirth an any class skill you would see FAR FEWER wamos. I prefer w/e but when in a pug .. time to bust out the rebirth to rez. There are just as many moronic casters as there are "wamos". Most of these horrible "wamos" are the sucky casters that think cast range works better if they stand on the enemy. Would you be happier if those of us packing rebirth to save the party after a leroy caster double agros stopped bringing rebirth or rez period? After 18 months of "wamo" posts I think every negative comment must have been said by now.

The FoW Helm + other armor is pretty classic. Of course you have the FDS and other uber sword people.

But we all know what makes a wammo a wammo, really--HH and Mending.

Similar blanket statement. People who care about/make fun of W/Mo's are mostly really terrible players.

There is a reason theese blanket statements exist, just like any other stereotype. They may break down on a one on one level, but over a large sample they are spot on.

That being said, in every online game I have ever played the least intellegent players are drawn to the big burly mellee characters regardless of how difficult the class is to play and master. Mending is like a dead give away in guildwars.

I'm surprised you don't get that. Are you a wammo or something?

If we are going to pull IQ into this shouldn't you spell intelligent correctly? That being said almost every skill has a use and place in the game ... mending is no different. I run it when chest running in parts of cantha with a blessing it gives me 6 regen aka damn hard to kill. It is YOUR attitude and those like you that will kill this game not the heros. Yes I am a noob and not very intellEgent. I have almost 3,000 hours on my warrior alone.

My favorite Wa/Mo armour setup was a guy who had all the FoW pieces except for the leggings. Which were Drok's and he had dyed silver. So it kinda looked like he was wearing his underwear outside of his pants.

It looked pretty funny. I went on several FoW runs with him in his attempt to make it to the Forgemaster for the last piece but we always had PuGs with lots of quitters and couldn't make it.

The last time he was just devastated, as all we had left to do was the spider cave and we were done, but a bunch of people quit and we couldn't do it.

He was actually a very good warrior, able to hold aggro and kept us fairly safe while we worked our way through this part of the game.

I'd like to point out that there is a difference in written usage between "W/Mo" and "wammo". This thread is most likely talking about the latter, meaning all of the sensitive, politically-correct W/Mo players can stop getting their panties in a bunch about class stereotyping.

/ragequit if any player in the party uses Healing Breeze.

I saw a wammo with lifebond in RA, I saw another Wammo in RA who used blessed signet to get energy back from his mending.
